I get obsessed with stars too, I do try not to but I get really depressed if there's something on the list which doesn't seem achievable by me. No matter how many times somebody tells me the lists are only a guide and if something doesn't apply to me I can leave it out. I'm useless.

Washing all dry, folded and put away.

    LameWolf,
that's really sad about the wolf :( I have a dog who is nearly 15 and I will miss her terribly when she's gone. Unfortunately I feel like I'm wasting the last year(s) of her life worrying about losing her instead of enjoying still having her. I watch her constantly and worry when she falls down.

I haven't done anything yet today as I am very short of energy. I will do a quick s and s in the bathrooms later. DS1 and 2 are going to sort the airing cupboard.

Sorry I haven't read through the thread today as I can't concentrate. Hugs for anyone who needs them.

    Maybe catch up later. :)

    Hi all

Not quite completed to level 3 on any days yet, but aim to do so by end of the day tomorrow, especially for kitchen & master bedroom as those have now become my 2 easiest rooms ;)

Did give DS room a good going over yesterday, but can't claim anything for that as the girl's room is horrendeous still  so I'm still working my way up to tackling that, my mum did mention coming round one day soon to help me sort it so it won't be avoided forever.

Lost another 2lbs at sw this week so feel I'm on a roll (until the next holiday!) Haven't caught up with much of the thread but tonight is our night of no clubs so might get some time to read through some of it.
    Good luck toochoosey.

I feel the same way sometimes but am learning to live with the lists and lack of stars. At the end of the day we only do what we can do in the time we have. Have been on a course al day with other deputy heads who worked up to 70 hours a week - even the bloke running the course said that they "were only making things worse for themselves". Time has its limits and we can't 'make more time' as my dh keeps saying.

On the flylady web pages she says FLY is all about Finally Loving Yourself, which also means being realistic, looking after yourself and then seeing what time you have left and what you can get done in it without driving yourself potty.

Thankfully dh has done quite a lot today so house is ok downstairs - not that anyone is coming round - and he has said he'll sort clothes out tomorrow. So I'm off dancing tonight and stitch and bi*ch with friends tomorrow night!

    afternoon everyone
its bright and sunny here but a bit cold -
just catching up on the last couple of days.............

Penny glad Ds did ok and your meeting went well and loved Soappie's disguise!!!
boddy massive (((hugs))) for you and healing vibes for your colleague - is the outlook any better for her? It must have been nice for her too to see you and acknowledge that you were there xx
    Kazw brilliant story:rotfl:
Dorastar thats brilliant about the school rooms and staff - I am sure they will realise that it will make the place much nicer to work in - well done to you for 'encouraging' them - you will get there at home too - little and often can make a huge difference.
sandy :rotfl: poor DH must have thought you had totally lost it when you were muttering about flying!!!
KazLA :T:T well done keeping the kitchen tidy - and I am sure you will get other rooms tidy too - its so much easier to keep on top of things and I am not surprised you are tired - you are after all carry a fly-baby - dont be overdoing the digging!!! And as PenPen says you cant fly and read the thread - you waste too much time reading so just maybe read the last page when you can.
cally hope mad kitty gets over her op quickly - maybe it will calm her down a bit too? She sounds wonderful:D
Valli sorry I missed giving you positive vibes for your observation but I see you didnt need them - you are obviously an excellent teacher and the praise was well deserved (((hugs)))
Kazm hello sweetie - hope you are ok - have a (((hug))) anyway xx
MrsChaos hope everything is going ok for the delivery - easy and safe delivery vibes for babies and MUM xx
Jinky yes i did miss you but thought you were having time out as last week was a bit  - hope things are better this week and you are feeling in control again xx
aj hope you manage to shift the cold and it doesnt spoil your time with your lovely DH
johnina sorry to hear you have had a bad hand - hope it is much improved now.

methekids hope you are feeling better today
pollybear well done getting the reduced insurance - very :money:
Mumof2 the lists and the stars dont work for everyone angel - dont be hard on yourself - I think you do very well with what you do achieve - it take a lot of discipline to work at home and you do it well- perhaps the pc is your drain so on the mornings that you can why not pretend you are going to work at 9am like most people and get on with your typing - maybe the radio or some background music if you like but nothing to distract you too much - set a timer and work until it goes off - then a tea break etc - if you are easily distracted would it help if you wrote out a timetable for the day/ week and made your self keep to it - perhaps in 30 or 60 min slots so that you have astructured day and not just do things as they crop up? hope we can help you but remember the lists are for guidance so dont get too hung up on completing them- prioritise and do the important stuff FIRST! - Dusty's way works well for her.
lav1979 hope the scan went well - do we get to know if its pink or blue?:rotfl:
froddy thats brilliant that he has made such a quick recovery - bet you wer4e smiling when you saw him!!!
Jo thats a brilliant routine you have worked out there - I am impressed angel:T:T:T:D:D:D
Triker hope the weather is good enough for you to do a car boot - it would be good to get rid of some stuff quickly and get the cash!
mOZzy nice to have you hack with us again - glad to hear that DH has a job too:T
Diva great news about your shower:T:D
Ishtar huge (((hugs))) pet - its not easy - you feel as if you are helpless but just being there for your Mum and Stepdad is a huge support - make sure your Mum gets a MacMillan Nurse - they are worth their weight in gold - pm me if there is anything I can do.
soappie hope you maange to the meeting on time and it goes in favour of your friend
Mumto5HappyBirthday to your DD2:bdaycake: hope she has had a lovely day and not been too overwhelmed by it all
KornishKat its important to spend time with children when they are growing and developing- enjoy it:D
Natty lovely to have you back firing on all cylinders:rotfl:but go easy this week - you can go full throttle next week if your are ok!!!:D
Greenbee hope your heating is working ok now - it will help with the motivation
KittyKirsty you need to get GH trained to do things the wat you want then done:D
wilf yes its very easy to get carried away but it was all good prices so you have probably saved money inb the long run
rosepink its good to see that you are trying harder and not sleeping so much - now that you have got passed the recent bout of depression I will be taking you off the daily award - you are so much cheerier and now that the flat is tidy it wont get you down - we will still be watching for your posts to see what you are up to and nagging you to keep up with the housework like everybody else!!! Keep up the good work - you dont want to let the flat slip back or let those lovely ladies down.
helen great news about the CRB - I am glad you didnt have to wait too long
pooh sorry to hear you are short on the energy front but just you supervise the boys and enjoy it :D(((hugs)))

    Hi all,

Hope your having a good fly week? No chance of catching up :o ((Hugs)) to al that need/want them

Been a very bust bee this week worked 2 day, trying to keep up with the flying and sort my finance out. 2 major event this week! decided to move house (moving end of month:eek:) and had to take DD to A&E as she pulled her pram on top of herself and knocked herself out cold, panicked and was just about to call 999 when she came round so just took her up myself. The did lots of test and watched her for quite a while before letting her come home. She's ok apart from a very angry looking bump and a few scratches :(
