Jo - I also love the whole list being up as it means if I haven't got time to do one part I can maybe do something else, I also tried printing off the previous weeks list but sometimes the tasks change and I would miss out on stars and I get very obsessed with stars !!!!!! I like to think I'm achieving something [how sad of me]

My CRB came through today - yeah - so I can start work soon, my hours are being sorted out over the next couple of days so DH and me are cracking open the wine tonight

Flying - Haven't managed much yet but going to crack on with a bit now but my back is feeling tender so I'll do a bit of picking and choosing from the list

    nice one!
*wanders off to glorious peak district - we got BIG caves up there lol*

    (p29)

gas man gone; DD still comatose; am going to finish LR.

Mumof2 (?) I decluttered - majorly, and have rooms which are easily cleaned. Mind you I also have priority rooms and if some don't get done they wait.

    so for me priority is

    bathroom
    kitchen
    living room
    hall/stairs/landing and PC area
    dining room
    my bedroom
then skim of kids rooms (vacuuming/change beds minimum)

routine - bed change on Fridays
and I iron daily when not out at work (but remember I am wierd cos I likes to iron;))

My life wouls be MUCH easier though if I could find the motivation to dry and put away washed pots...

    HI all,
    Please may i have a wednesday Star,Toots

I like to have the list one day at a time.

I rush on asap in the morning to see which it is.
If the whole week was there, i would just choose what i wanted to do and it would be like just doing my own thing.

    :o I do have a life. I promise.

I must admit, I'd quite like the whole list at the beginning of the week, so that days when Mr LW is working from home (it's irregular; he get's a month's list in advance) I could get ahead with areas he's going to be occupying, iyswim.

I'd have to watch not to get back to my old ways of rushing about like a blue-@r$ed fly at the start of the week and spending the rest of it unable to do anything at all, though.:o

I've read the thread, and not taken in a word, as I'm somewhat distracted today (Post#32 on the Daily thread if you're curious - I don't want to type it all out again, or I'll start crying, and I've only just stopped:()

So..... ((((HUGS)))) and Posi-Vibes wherever they're needed, and Happy Birthday to the Flychild who has a birthday today (I think it was Mumto5's DD2; sincere apologies if I've remembered incorrectly).:o

Maybe it is just me, but dont you have a little smile about the collective sigh that can be heard across the country ( and further!), when her Highness posts the cleaning of the cooker on level one?

Or the collective fishwife impressions of mothers with teens on 'other bedroom days' and the collective grunt from teens when asked to something other than sit on their ars$es?

And when the sodding duvet doesnt go into its cover............

JO - Thanks for sharing the info about how you manage flying time with work. It was a very inspirational read. I'm considering returning to work after 6yrs as a SAHM and I'm worried the house will go to pot :o. But maybe I can juggle work and home life after all....
    I need direction to perfection...
