Ishtar - everything crossed that your Mum's surgery will go well and get rid of all the cancer. I'm glad it's not as bad as it could be.

I’m up to one of my little needle work type projects, and I am in need of a piece of velvet at a minimum of 16” x 14”, does any one have any kicking around in a craft box they no longer want?

I can look at the scrap store for you on Thursday if nobody has any to hand.

A bit bored of the paperwork now but a final HH or so should see it done.

Thanks to all for your positive vibes for my mum...the news isn't great, but it isn't as bad as it could be. She has moderate-grade endometrial cancer, which they are going to treat with surgery - she will have a hysterectomy, including tubes and ovaries, and the removal of several lymph nodes. They are hopeful that this will remove the cancer. She will have to have radiotherapy if they find it has spread, but they are confident that they will catch it with the surgery. Although malignant, the tumour is of the less aggressive type.

good news it is treatable.. hopefully her recovery will be swift!

I'll come back to you on that, as the lady in the next door unit where I work, has just popped in, she says she might have some, and will look tonight when she gets home. xxxx

Tumble dryer man finally been here and it's working (for now), he forgot about us on friday. The drum keeps stopping and burning the belt off so if it stops again there gonna send me a new machine.:D
Rhys has been in great form so i think he missed us, well i'm sticking to that anyway. At least one missed me the rest want us to go away again.:rotfl:

Right I need to get up off my bum and do something before i fall asleep.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
