Evening all - have only skim read so forgive me if I've missed anything important

    Welcome chocolatebum
Happy birthday to your DH Macpep1
Ishtar - healing vibes for your Mum - hoping they manage to remove everything
Rosep - take a deep breath love, you'll be fine this evening, honest! And as Piggers so wisely says, they're coming because they care and they want to help. Sometimes we all need to accept that we need help xx

    I am exhausted!

Did my stint with my supervisor today. Had to do four cold call interviews of about 10 mins long after calling in at the police station to announce our presence in the area. Supervisor let me choose the area so I chose the area of the town which was bungalow and retirement land guessing that people would be in. And they were! Managed to get the four i/vs done in a couple of hours so I am now launched :D

Then we stopped for lunch and to catch up on paperwork, then it was out in the field for the REAL work with the pre-determined addresses. I can't say I got nervous about it, but I felt a lot less confident knowing that it was the Real Thing. But, did successfully complete my first real life project interview :D Lovely retired, intelligent gentleman who was an absolute poppet. I shall remember him forever I think!

But, I'm truly exhausted. So much to take in and so much thinking on your feet - I'm just not used to it anymore but I will improve - the old Soappie persuasion and gab that was there a year ago will come back.

I am now going to find some dinner and do some flying whilst it cooks (jacket potato I think with cold chicken from yesterday's roast and salad) then I'm going to crash.... and recoup ready for doing the same tomorrow - but it should be easier now the launch is done and I've done my first real one.

Apologies for the long post. I just needed to get it out of my system....
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Well done Soappie. Sounds like you got on well and really enjoyed it. I love that you used the word poppet. My dearly departed nana used to call me poppet. Lovely word :D
