You sound like me, I keep doing that to Ebay, Etsy and Folksy! LOL! Hope you get good news soon

I'm unbelievably nervous about this evening, three of my friends are coming to help me declutter and all I can think is that they are going to see what a terrible state I've let things get into. I'm having a bad day today, over tired and crying a lot and feeling generally useless, so I will either feel tons better when they've gone or tons worse. I know they are kind people and want to help, but I'm so ashamed of my home. I hate living here. And I hate that it's so awful in here.

DH has been a real star this afternoon and has been here all afternoon giving me hugs and now he's washing up and doing kitcheney things so it will look ok out there.

They are your friends they are coming to help you, not to ridicule your home but to give you a boost and make a start on making it lovely.. they are coming because they care about you!

They want you to be happy and they know that by helping with this your home will be neater, you will be less stressed about it and it will lift your mood!

just let them help.. you can provide binbags and coffee! :D

Need to book a hotel in Cambridge for Saturday... a friend has booked somewhere lovely, but I clearly missed the window as it's now minimum 2 night stay and expensive! ALL the hotels within tottering distance of the dinner are expensive on a saturday night. So... how do I decide which one to go for? Closest? Nicest? And how do I tell if it's nicest anyway... I get loyalty points for ALL of them... so I guess it doesn't matter which one I pick from that perspective ;)

    Hi all

I would like to fly again this week - thankyou Pigpen, Toots and Soappie for the thread.
Unfortunately I have had one of these daft days when I just don't get it together and have done very little - hope to get going tomorrow.
I have just had an email offering DD2 a place at the school we wanted (though there was never much doubt - it's the local school) so that is one less thing to think about!
    Have a good week all!

Wow, 6 pages to read through already! I have only skimmed the thread I'm afraid so hugs to all that need them and Happy Birthday to the people celebrating!

Am in again this week, had a busy day, two skip runs, I have cleaned the freezer and while at it threw a lot of food out that had been in there for ages. Also have now emptied DD1's old room out and she is in the loft room, hooray! So have given the room a quick vacuum and dust. Next thing I need to do now is to repaint it. DD2 wants it yellow and as its a shocking pink at the moment I will have to paint it white first I think.

Also went to step and tone this morning, was hard work!
Anyway, here is my list of things left to do:

Monday ~ Kitchen & Dining area
    Level One
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Level Two
Run appliances through a clean cycle.. clean filters, drawers and doorseals first!
    Level Three
Clean out the cupboard with the pet food/miscellaneous items!

    Extras
    1. dust and deweb!
    2. Wash small appliances and replace
    3. wipe the fluffy tops of appliances!

Mudders - great news for your DD and the whole class

Rose if your friends thought the place was all neat and done they would not be coming to help would they. Now come on chick chin up!

Still not quite finished today's paperwork task but I need to do a bit of flying

    hoover downstairs
    remake our bed
    tidy up from dinner
give the bathroom a once over
    mop the floors

Plus get DS3 to do his homework so HHC at 18:30 anyone?

Got home from work, made dinner and dashed out to parents evening. Both sons doing well overall. DS1 needs to work on punctuation as he is missing easy marks in the test by omitting it. His mental maths score was really high. but in the written maths, he loses marks for not showing his working out. She said DS2's creative writing is extremely good, but sometimes his writing is a bit like he is having a conversation with himself :rotfl::rotfl:.

I have just had a leisurely bubble bath and a glass of wine. After all the stressing about school places I feel knackered. I never did get an email from school admissions, so I am glad I rang them. The twins brought a letter home from school to confirm it too.

I am going to attempt some flying in a bit but TBH it may be just the dailies.
Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j

    Hi,

Just as i was about to dish up tea Ds2 was sick all over my clean kitchen floor. So that's been washed again and Ds2 has been bathed and is now lying on the sofa watching Fireman Sam. As well as that i have

    Brought the washing in
Td each load for 10 mins
    Folded both loads
    Put rabbits to bed

I'm just having a quick coffee before i do the dishes and have a tidy around.
