Hi all
Have been a bit busy today...doing goodness knows what really, just keeping my mind occupied.
Thanks to all for your positive vibes for my mum...the news isn't great, but it isn't as bad as it could be. She has moderate-grade endometrial cancer, which they are going to treat with surgery - she will have a hysterectomy, including tubes and ovaries, and the removal of several lymph nodes. They are hopeful that this will remove the cancer. She will have to have radiotherapy if they find it has spread, but they are confident that they will catch it with the surgery. Although malignant, the tumour is of the less aggressive type.
Flying-wise, I've done my dailies, sorted DDs room of doom, done some pottering in the kitchen and generally moved piles of papers from one place to another.
I'd better be off...littleys need their tea...
Take care
D

Have totally blown my monthly budget, but have taken great leaps in my 'make my house better' project! I now have an above coats shelf; a new bathroom mat; a light fitting for the inner hall (it's had a bare bulb hanging there for the last 4 years ); every light bulb in the house works - even the cooker ones (£3.28 for a replacement bulb ) so I can see my clean cooker.
Hope everyones well xxx0 -
