DH is going to be the best Dad ever as he has just brought a flat screen tv which the kids have been pestering for - it is second hand from a friend so a good deal.

Now to scheme what lovely things I can get away with now, evil cackle

    Happy Birthday Kaz and Rose

Back to do another 15 minutes on the paperwork before the school run.

    Hi folks,

I’m up to one of my little needle work type projects, and I am in need of a piece of velvet at a minimum of 16” x 14”, does any one have any kicking around in a craft box they no longer want?

Happy birthday to Kaz and Rose I hope you both have a lovely day xxx

Amazingly enough, Monday all done please Toots xx

Got an hour to either do some ironing or do some typing and I think the typing will win. DS is happily watching TV (has been most of the day, he hasn't wanted to do anything and off his food) so I may as well make a start.

When DH gets home from work will let the chooks out into the garden for a wander; they love it but are hard to get back into their run and I'm too wimpy to pick them up :o.

Hi to all the newbies and returnees!

Rose, well done to you on wanting to go out and about - it's lovely and sunny here so let's hope the weather will be half way decent in March. Nothing nicer than a wander in the sunshine.

Dusty, your kids will be all over DH then! Dads can get it right sometimes can't they!

Vanilla, glad you had a good time away and sorry DS played up. They always do it don't they!

Mudbath, lovely to see you back in circulation again!

Good luck to all those waiting to hear about schools, it's an anxious time I know.

the other day there was a thread on the freebies section with material swatches, someone on there (i am looking for it now) said they had a sample of velvet sent as a freebie.

does anyone know how to make a granny square?

Toots, I would like black or red, as my choice, but any thing that size that someone doesn't want would be great.

    Thank you xx

I have brought my washing in. All dried except the socks so I will hang them above the boiler.

One loaf of bread is on the cooling rack and the other is in the oven.

Kitchen floor mopped but will need a final wipe over when DH comes back in.
