    Evening all

Finally got the bathroom cleaned and DS3 in bed. He has had 3 meltdown's this evening which is not like him so hope he's not coming down with something. He has learnt that listening to music or reading a book calms him down - great lesson learnt there!

Mumof2 hugs fo your wee one, hope the pain doesn't last all night. Have you tried him laying with a hotwater bottle against the ear. There is a lot of earache about at the moment

Dora - that is a pain about the shoes. When it has happened to mine (twice but different shop/different child) they have been most apologetic and changed them no problem. Hope your LO is better soon

Rose - hope the evening went well

Just a tiny bit of my declutter left to do so hopping over to the other thread.

Hello everyone I'm back in again this week. House is a tip and must stop myself getting distracted by the competition thread. Have a shocking cold at the moment but must get something done as I'm feeling really guilty.

MrsChaos was thinking about the babies due today and hope they have had a safe arrival and their Mum is doing well too.

Thanks for the good wishes and 'safe arrival' vibes to toots and everyone else. So far the babies have stayed put and the operating theatre will be waiting in the morning if nothing has happened during the night. I think they should just get on with it now IMHO - didn't rate being induced, myself. :(
My friend has gone to stay with her daughter in hospital, as the dad-to-be, who works nights, has gone to work. He wants to save as much leave as possible to help with the twins when they come home. Sensible man. I'm in touch with my friend's mum and she's promised to let me know if anything happens. They are a lovely family who've had to cope with a lot over the years. I just can't believe that my friend is going to be a nan - she's a couple of years younger than me, and my DSs are 15 and 5.
Sorry for the off-topic post. I got back from the childminder's just between half four and five, but time has just flown. Tea was only leftovers, but still took ages. I'll tidy up the kitchen now while making a cuppa and see what I can knock off the list. Won't be much, but every little bit counts.
    See you all later.

Just popping in very quickly to say a huge thank you to everyone of you for your positive hugs, prayers, vibes and thoughts ........

'little shadow' is MUCH better and almost back to his normal cheeky self :T :j

The MRI scan showed nothing so they are putting it down to a virus. His poor parents are shattered but relieved - they spent nearly 3 days thinking he had had a stroke!

Welcome to all newbies - sorry I can't remember all the names - and welcome back to all returners

Ishtar - my thought and prayers are with you all; sorry to hear the news but glad the outcome looks positive x

soappie - glad your day went well

    kazm - Happy Birthday!

rosepink - hope your evening was ok x

Hope news on all school places is good and hugs to all those poorlies x

Sorry if I've missed anyone else I'm soooo tired and am now heading for bed.

    Night all, sleep well xx

    tuesdays list is up..

apologies it is so late.. KH didn't bring the children back until 9;15pm.. then I had to chase them all to bed as fast as possible.. he is such a f-quit.. how horrible is it keeping the littlies up 2.5 hours after their bed time.. on a school night?!!

Then I had to go yell at the neighbours for playing 'music' way too loud for 10pm.. selfish sodding loathesome students.. I literally beat the door until they answered.. then I was sickeningly nice.. ooh.. I think they just turned it off!!.. I hope!! I did have half the street noseying I hammered so loudly on the door!! It is amusing.. he was all apologetic and I'm 5 ft 3 and obviously very menacing lol

Oh.. AND... we still haven't been emailed about school for DS3 so I am not happy!!

    Extras:
Tell HMRC nursery costs gone up
    MUST do ironing
    Typing - Gary's work
    Worm chooks - [STRIKE]M[/STRIKE][STRIKE], T,[/STRIKE] W
Fill out claim form for Pip and drop off at the vets - also pick up Frontline and treat Pip
    Invoice Gary

Mumof2 hope wee man is felling better quickly - try to get into the habit of picking up the chooks as they will soon get used to it and are so much easier to deal with

Yeah, but how do you get them in the first place? Betsy is sort of OK (now she's laying she crouches thinking I'm a Mr Betsy wanting to, um, you know ;)) but the other 3 are shockers!

This is not really flying related but I just wanted to pop in and say hi. I am away "down south" this week with work and not back until Sunday afternoon so I won't be doing any of the lists.

I seem to be surounded by lots of toxic people during the day and my mood is rapidly nose diving whenever I am around them so I will be concentrating on keeping my spirits high until Friday when OH is flying down to be with me.

BTW, I live in Scotland, I am currently on the South Coast, you are meant to have warmer weather down here, WHAT IS GOING ON?
