Another binbag filled, my card carrier thingy now bulging nicely.
Knicker drawer decluttered, also found inside, a lot of loose change, 2 toothbrushes, toothpaste, a pin number to a credit card and about 5 packets of photos, now all rehomed or and my veil from my wedding...
FOUND my mising necklace, :j my special pressie at christmas from hubby, which I've been looking for for a few days, as I'd noticed it was missing....phew.
Also managed to completely fill my small piggy bank from all the loose change I've found on top of cupboards, in drawers, side of bed and scattered generally everywhere.:D Will take a trip to HSBC at some point, fling it in their coinstar machines (free for HSBC account holders) and convert that change into more debt busting money.
I'm afraid books will have to wait until another day, all newspapers and mags have been binned except some that we keep for lighting the fire.
Various documents have been rehomed into their respective files.
Need to clear table for tea, we're then having a family night and watching a film together with a takeaway so I'll probably be back tomorrow with Day 2 of Dusty's Decluttering Frenzy. :T:rotfl:DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Thanks for the reminder about wills :A We made ours when the children were in primary. The plan was for them to go and live with my sister in Wales if anything happened to us. They're now 15 and 16, so that's no longer appropriate. We just need to get it in writing.
Anyone know - do we need to write a new will, or can we put a note in with the existing one?Dustykitten wrote: »I too have a box of photos to put in albumns - about 10 years worth:o Plus I have not printed any of my digital ones (I don't want to do it until I have filed the ones I have)
That's just what I'm doingDS is doing homeowrk, and DD is making a birthday card for her granny, so I'm going to do a quick half hour of photo labeling, in front of the log fire :j

You have all made such progress and been so positive :T
Triker you have done loads, I hope you are not too tired, enjoy you evening.
DS1 has really enjoyed sorting through his old school work and has had a real laugh at some of it. Just another little bit for me to stick in the scrap book and his box will be done. With him reaching the end of compulsory school in May there will not be much to add now but he'll have reams of A'Level work I'm sure.
Tomorrow I am doing my clothes in the morning - invigilating in the afternoon so will have to set to and get a wiggle on in the morning. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Rach - you've been at work all day and not been too well so I think that is more than enough, do you have some magazines you could sit and read and then recycle? The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Well done on making a decision about ECDL. It is amazing how many of us dealt with the post today - maybe we should all continue with that all week.
I've just decluttered the last of a bottle of Moet and most enjoyable it was too.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
