I'm going to give this a go, as although there isn't a huge amount of clutter here, paperwork DEFINITELY seems to breed! Much as it pains me to get rid of magazines (I feel so guilty about buying them), I haven't re-read any of the back copies of The Ecologist or the organic/healthy lifestyle magazines I've got cluttering up the living room. So I'm taking them to my reflexologist today as she and her daughter will probably both find them interesting.

I hope to get paperwork done while sitting at my desk... I need to sort out a few online payments and stuff too...

ETA - paid my brother some money I owe him, and logged on to work payroll site... I've been paid, and they've refunded my emergency tax :j:j(I think... need to borrow an accountant to check) so NEXT month I'll know what to expect each month (then again... I'm hoping to get some kind of pay rise, even after only 6 months in the job). This month it means I've got a bit extra so need to think what to do with it...

I've finished my flying jobs so off to the bedroom.

I've got 2 hours to sort out my wardrobe and drawers so hope to acheive that.

Hiya hun, no, I'm good, I have to get the cluttery clothes sorted, that'll make a HUGE difference in the bedroom.

Today I also need to get my car sorted plus I have a cracked windscreen so need to attend to that also.

I'm going to grab a coffee and get on to it. :D

    Been through all my clothes.

Bag for charity/ bag for recycling both in the boot of the car for Thursday
    Later I need to:
List 3 'decent' items on ebay
    Defuzz 3 jumpers
Do some of the mending in the basket.

Going to treat myself to HH pruning in the sun before lunch and a couple of hours at work.

    1st Paper Monday
Anything to do with paperwork/photos/boxes of cards/kids pictures/books/magazines etc
[STRIKE]Remeber some paperwork needs to be kept for certain periods of times[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Shread confidential waste - this can be used in the compost/wormery; for pet bedding or packing up those ebay sales you will be making later in the week.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Please recycle all other paper where possible.[/STRIKE]

    2nd Cotton Tuesday
    [STRIKE]
Clothes - anybody's for charity/rehoming or ebay but not creating piles!
If it has not been worn in a year is it ever likely to be?
Do you have summer/spring clothes stashed away which you could sort out?
Are some of your winter clothes really past their best?
Are there items not being worn because they are waiting to be mended/defuzzed? If so get that done this evening and start wearing them
Anything that needs drycleaning take to the cleaners.
Clothes which cannot be reworn can be bagged and labelled as rags and placed in the supermarket clothing banks or given to charity shops - they still get cash from the rag man.
    [/STRIKE]

I keep on top of mine and the kiddies clothing and DH does his when I tell nag him to. So tomorrows list is fairly short for me which is good as I still have paperwork stuff to do, so my list for tomorrow is
    Mend DD'd trousers and socks
[STRIKE]Take any clothing in the garage to the charity shop or the clothes bin[/STRIKE] Acharity bag came through the door this morning for collection tomorrow - talk about fate intervening
[STRIKE]Sort out paperwork on comp desk[/STRIKE]
    Sort out paperwork in BR
Sort out kiddies stuff into their special boxes in the garage
    [STRIKE]
    Continue with the shredding
    [/STRIKE]

    I've also
decluttered dog poo from the garden [hateful job]
done some flying [quite a bit actually]

Stopping now for some lunch and then carrying on

    Have a productive day everyone

Afternoon all. Just shredded some more paperwork left from yesterday.

I've been diving in the airing cupboard and I've got rid of a single duvet - the one that I took off the bed when I put the new one on. Why did I keep it? And a nasty pillow. I've still got two spare pillows and the spare bed hardly gets used so I don't need another duvet for it.

I also found two cushions that DD2 left when she moved out so I've used them as new cushion pads for the sad things in the living room and used the now spare ones to double up in the other two covers so they look better too. Bargain ;)

Went through the flannels and hoicked out two frayed ones which have been reborn as dishcloths.

I could do with some getting rid of a couple of bathtowels but I will need to get replacements first so that will have to wait. I haven't got all that many towels so I can't just get rid of them.

Even when you think you've sorted everything it seems you can still find more.
