Dusty - thank you :A
I've cleared so much carp and washing and ironing this week its unbelievable - most of it was paperwork, towels and blankets. I'm nearly up to date with the ironing and washing but even though I won't get anymore done today[about to go to work] I am very happy with what I have done
Dusty DS - Happy birthday
Have a lovely day everyone

1st fair on 13/4/14 :j0 -
I'm still finding stuff to shred! Mostly because of stuff coming through the post (like water rates, house insurance etc which means being able to get rid of last year's stuff).
At least I'm keeping up with it. Another month and I'll be able to sort out the payslips for the last year and shred the year before. I do keep the P60s.
I'm hoping to get DH to sort some more stuff out. He did go through the car folder yesterday (MOT, insurance etc) and shredded out of date stuff. It's an uphill struggle!0 -
Tidied out the tea towel drawer
Bike sold on ebay so hoping that will be collected later.
Fudge did not set - I'll have to re-boil it later. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
DH is doing the last of the filing now, and I put a load of receipts from the noticeboard and papers from the kitchen in the shred pile and recycling earlier. Also chucked some toiletries and well out of date vitamins from the bathroom. After I've finished what I'm watching I will start to sort through my clothes and then I can cross something else off.
I will go back and update my list above so it can be a work in progress that I can keep at the decluttering!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
update: I feel good! I've been pretty ruthless and now have 4 normal sized carriers and one big boots bag of clothes to take to the charity bin
I got rid of anything of size 12 and under as it's not likely to fit again for a while! I also have a pile of washing that has been sitting, worn once, on the airer thing we have in the bedroom...I now have space for it in my wardrobe and drawers so once washed it can go away.
Just having a breather then will pop across the road with it all to the charity bin, can't stand stuff hanging around.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Me too about the cowboy boots!!!

Will have to get round to this on Wednesday - am starting painting the house tomorrow and having hair done on Tuesday!!!
Not very MS but its nice anyway!Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.0 -
I'm afraid I have completely lost track of the thread and hence have totally failed the challenge. Hopefully, if this thread continues I will be able to get some more stuff done....will continue with paper and stuff tomorrow unless there is to be a new theme??0

Evening all
Tooch - we don't fail on this thread;) Sometimes life gets in the way but at heart we are decluttering:A
I'm glad so many of you have enjoyed the week and have achieved so much.
I plan to carry on again next week as I have more to do on most of the themes (but not Linen or iron).
If anybody is looking for new ideas the next anniversaries are:
Wool
Bronze
pottery/china
Tin/aluminium
steel
silk
lace
If you would like me to come up with list of suggested tasks for these anniversaries then I'm more than happy to.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
