I've found even more shredding to do today, don't know where it's all coming from! I'm hoping to get rid of stuff through the week but no definite plans yet.

Me too Dusty - tomorrow is haircut day - trying to spin the children out until Easter hols though - gel is great for this on boys! Today have washed all upstairs curtains and used an old pair of velvet ones to make linings for 2 pairs. Still have the paperwork to plough through - just keep putting it off.

Promise I'll do it on (if not before) Wednesday. Once I have these curtains done I'm going to give serious thought to painting 2 of the 4 bedrooms and the landing and the bathroom. Have got the stuff, just need to paint.
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.

    Hi all

I only managed to soak my feet last night but that was on my list.

Today we are emptying DS3's tiny room for builder work so there may be a few more bits too lose but as the room is so small there is not much in there and I've done his clothes already.

    Hi :j
So far today I have decluttered (5 a day being my target) - they may be stretching the Bronze/copper a bit (thanks for some of your ideas Dusty):

    Bronze/Copper Tuesday - DONE
    • 1 tube of fake tan - the tube had split
    • 1 bronze nail varnish that had gone gloopy
    • £1 bag of coppers to bank account
    • whilst there got list of direct debits and wrote to bank decluttering the businesses dds that we no longer do business with just in case they can still access our bank account
    • 1 copper coloured skirt altered so that it fits and is back in use (sewing machine is getting some use these days!)
    • 1 pair of brown shoes reheeled and back in use
    • 1 chocolate bath bomb (from Cosmetics to Go - how long ago was that?) ready for tonight's soak
    • veg korma in SC using orange/yellow veg languishing in fridge drawer (can I get away with that?) and I will add greens when I serve up
    • 1 pair of nude coloured (well they were originally) undies thrown away
Our finance spreadsheets and spending diary were up-to-date as I get a mini statement daily. Receipts sorted.

OK, so not a lot compared to most of you, but better than nothing and it made me laugh today trying to find a bronze/copper link.

    Happy decluttering
    Jx

ooh what are the cowboy boots like and what size?
apologies to you leed and esmf for not replying about the boots - got sidetracked.
they are black and look like suede but arent - nice thick fake! they have diamante studs decorating the seam where the shoe meets the leg and have a traditinal cowboy boot heel - they were 2nd hand when i got them off ebay but in excellent condition - I have only worn them twice i think as they are too big - size 5.

Dusty what great ideas for the 2nd week - will have to see what i can do. Thanks for keeping us going.
    love and hugs
