Watched the youtube video on folding fitted sheets then the one on flat sheets and then the one on folding your fitted sheet into a neat fold with your fitted sheet in the middle. It is a lot easier to do then to explain so now I have kept 6 pairs which are all ironed( I have never in 36 years of marriage ironed sheets so today is a first)and I now have a very tidy top shelf in my airing cupboard. Also watched the videos of folding your bras and pants :rotfl:and have now a new hobby of folding things:D Landed up doing a whole pile of ironing and every thing is neat and tidy. Filled 3 bin bags on the way for the charity shop.0

It does actually work really well, and the folded sheets take up much less room

I haven't done a flaming thing on the list, however I have saved it for a week of rainy days. Sorry. we have been to staples and bought a filing cabinet so that the finance and admin manager (DH!) can get the paperwork all in one place instead of the several files we have. SO this afternoon's job is going to be making space for it in the study which means moving 2 sets of plastic drawers with craft stuff/presents etc into the spare room. He'll then be sorting the paperwork and I will go through the plastic drawers. Clothes may wait til tomorrow, will see how we get on.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

I would love to see the video! I don't do ironing but I can always try to pursuade someone else here to do it. Can you post a link? Please?business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

oi get back here! Don't talk about rain - I'm sure you can do a tiny little something, like read a magazine and recycle it.
I've got a lovely clean decluttered car:j Inside not out - DH was using the hose/jet wash and it is too cold. DS2&3 helped and have done a great job inside with baby wipes - the fact that they are so good on leather makes me wonder about poor babies botties - I used washable muzzie clothes and water on mine:D
Bamboo next and then off to look at tv stands for the new tv so the old one can be decluttered (hopefully for a few pennies) out of the living room. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Still washing and ironing, got a bit side tracked by Nana and Grandad visiting for a little while but back on the job now. Just watched that clip on folding sheets, didn't know it was possible to get them that flat so i'll give it a go next time I do sheets

Just watched the clip too...maybe when I have more sheets and less space I'll do that!
Am pleased with myself as have cleared 3 big plastic drawers in the study. DH is about half way there with the paperwork and we've both stopped for a break. Have moved one of the plastic drawer sets into the spare room (the one with presents etc in) to make space for the filing cabinet in the study. Spare room needs a good going over at some point, might get rid of the futon and get a spare bed at some point as when I sleep badly (quite a lot recently) it would be nice to have another bed to go into and read etc).
Have one big bag for the bin, quite a lot of stuff to recycle (all our engagement cards!) and some charity shop stuff to add to the clothes when I get around to them.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Folding things, lol! Thats great!
Penelope Penguin, I love what you've done organising that post, thats a great idea - really gives you extra oomph to show what a lot you've done. So many of these jobs are fairly little in themselves, in a way, which is why they don't get done - but add them up, and it becomes absolutely huge. Love that list!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
