    Hi :j
    Leather Wednesday:
    • 2 pairs of shoes thrown out (I love my shoes and don't want to throw any more away please - they are all neat and tidy)
    • 1 pair of slippers thrown out
    • 1 pair of flipflops thrown out
    • 1 handbag to charity shop
    • 5 belts to charity shop
    • 2 makeup bags to charity shop
    Linen Thursday:
    • 2 roll up blinds to charity shop
    • 1 fleece to DD tonight for her puddy cat
    • 3 towels to DD for her puddy cat's muddy paws
    • 2 pillows thrown out
    • 2 T towels for cleaning cloths
Trying to keep to target of at least 10 items per day! Off to DD's tonight, so I'll do decluttering at her place (if that's OK Dusty) as she's got a shed that needs sorting. I'll have to play catch-up with things here at the flat.

Everyone seems to be doing SO well. It's been great catching up with sewing, etc.

    Hugs

PenPen - I know we can't have a new thread next week but I guess there is no problem with us continuing to use this one if some of us want to do it all over again next week?

Well, the thread won;t be deleted or closed, so as long as there's interest, I'm sure it will continue :D

I've spent all morning moving, backing-up and deleting files, and now I'm shattered :o Off to do some linen, then I'll have an hour's needlepoint :T

Piece of good news :j I've just been tidying out my side board, and come across a beautiful piece of hand-embroidered antique silk (probably from my MIL). It looks like it's been removed from a piece of furniture. I'm nervous of cutting it, but will be strong and turn it into some lovely cushions :j

I did nothing yesterday and have yet to start today.
I will be stashing as I have found uses for all my spare linen: for our pets and for the holiday cottage pets. I will sort and stash those we will never use for us in the loft maybe.

Toots - I promise you - there are parts that were awful until this thread to remove the carp - I can now put away so much stuff and make space - watch me get those star next week

Can't do much tomorrow as DH is at home for the day and we have other plans [nudge, nudge, wink, wink lol] but on Saturday I have some of the day to myself as DH is working in the afternoon and kiddies are at their Dads so I'll catch up with the washing and ironing and put it all away so come Monday I can start all over again with a lovely hotspot clear home

Wow .... I've just come back on OS for the first time in ages......... this is a great thread! I've been decluttering like crazy, I seem to collect incredible amounts of paper and magazines. Some, I've put on Amazon - others are similar enough to go on ebay.

I'm concentrating at the moment on getting recycling out of the house and into the garage to wait for our fortnightly collection at the moment, so that the kitchen is clear, thats mostly about shredding - I had a blitz a month or so ago, but after decluttering I've found another little stash, and luckily our council collects it. And though I don't buy many clothes, I seem to find it *incredibly* difficult to throw any out.

So the immediate goal is to do the shredding, and get it and the other recycling in the house into the garage.

The next one is to finish off checking magazines - scanning the front covers (don't ask :o:o:o) scanning some articles for a website I support, checking them against Amazon and ebay, and recycling what isn't needed.

I'm not sure I can bear to think about listing on ebay at the moment. _pale_

Clothes. Oh dear. I'm going to have to think about that, the shredding and the magazines will do for now.

    Thanks everyone!

Well that was quite funny - I thought, strike while the iron's hot, I got the stuff to be shredded out of the bottom of the wardrobe - had to tidy the shoes up to do it - and I found old batteries and aluminium foil and a low wattage light bulb to recycle.... amazing, even tho you think a place is tidy, It Isn't!!!!!
