I am going to do clothes and shoes at the weekend. I have quite a lot of clothes I never wear and the ones I do wear hardly fit in the wardrobe, so something must be done! It's ridiculous hanging onto stuff that a) doesn't fit and b) I have no occasion to wear! Shoes I did recently but I bet there are some more that can go...I feel ruthless!

Ok - so my mission for today is garage, garden and porch cupboard. Let me deliver the boys to school and then I can get on with it. The garden shouldn't be too difficult this season! Am not looking forward to the garage as I have been collecting for a jumble sale at the end of the month and have oodles of stuff in there. NOT all mine. :o

Went out last night to a ladies evening and RESISTED buying handbags and clothes although it was hard. Tonight am out to dinner with another group of ladies - made what has turned out to be a lovely casserole with odds and ends from the freezer. Am really NOT looking forward to doing all the paperwork tomorrow - I can't see the sideboard I use as a desk at the moment

Then on Saturday I'm taking the children out to a planetarium for the day - will be fun I think.
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.

    Morning all

esmf73 good luck with today's mission!

For me it is bags and shoes. I've done the bags in the kitchen so going to do the ones upstairs and see if I an rehome some bits from the cupboard in our room which becomes the cupboard in DS3 room next week.

Later I'm off to deposit stuff at the scrap store/charity shop/recycling bins.

I'm going to do the list i didn't do yesterday today. I don't have an airing cupboard so all my towels and bedding are in boxes under my bed and i can't have to much or they won't fit so there's nothing to declutter.

    Declutter handbag
    Polish shoes

HelenJelly - you have done so well - star declutter so far!

I've done my shoes/bags/accessories. I don't have loads of these so not a huge job but a few more put in the car boot box.

I need to do some flying next but first some cyber decluttering (emails).

Plan to do some ironing/sewing later as today's tasks were quick ones.

I really want one of those defuzzers, just need to check finances first, Scots of Stow are on Quidco if anybody else was tempted.

    - I know we can't have a new thread next week but I guess there is no problem with us continuing to use this one if some of us want to do it all over again next week?

This thread was exactly timed right for me and once I'd joined it I couldn't face letting myself down by not doing it, off to do the linen stuff now, see's ya all later

    Helen x

ETA I have done the linen - I have 4 large bin bags of curtains and sheets that are going to go to the school when they next have their "bags to school" day - you take in bags of old clothes, sheets etc that are collected, weighed and the school get paid per tonne of donated material and I have 2 large bin bags of towels and blankets that are going to a Vets. I haven't created much room as I still have stuff but what I have can be seen and got to! So I'm grateful for that. I now have to do some flying before everyone gets home in a couple of hours
