Thank you both for your replies. I was just concerned because it says quite often that entrants have to be uk resident. We are not on it purely because we don't agree with the political system, but are still lifelong uk residents. But that nagging feeling of 'have I won something big and been turned down after a electoral roll check and not informed' will take some shifting lol. Thanks again.

I do think it might be the case for SOME competitions, but not all. For example, on the pickmeup competitions t&cs it says:

Claims are only valid if the winner's name and address are on the electoral roll. It is the winner's responsibility to ensure their contact details on the site are correct and up-to-date.

so I guess you might just have to pay the price sometimes for your political convictions?

You may be right, it's horrible entering and thinking you might not get your prize if you win. On the brightside I had my first ever win delivered this morning, some funky teabags, so now I am completely hooked and will be entering everything with abandon! I just don't care! Thanks for your help.

Oh that's fantastic, because I think that is the company who come up when I googled electoral roll and competitions. You've really put my mind at rest, and have made comping all the more enjoyable. Thank you very much for that.

  • Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place so sorry if I'm not but I was looking for interactive/games type competitions like the instant win and daily comps or the asos/magnum one that's just ended.

I'll list the ones I already know of and if anyone knows of any more they can add them etc.

I'm new so can't post links but will name them so you can do a search or maybe someone could find them and link them for me.

    Hi hun,

thanks for trying to be helpful but this kind of list isn't really feasible on the board.

We are not allowed any more sticky threads and so your list would get lost on the board. A lot of instant wins tend to be dailies and are listed on the regular comps board.
