Thanks
The 'comping fairy' - she brings all your winsis a bit like buses, there's none for ages then loads come at once. I won very very little in February & March despite putting hours and hours a day into comps, and very nearly gave up, it was so hard to motivate myself. But, in April & May I won so much it boosted me straight away!! I'm so glad I didn't give up because since April I have won over £3000 worth of stuff, including a 50" TV!! You just need to make yourself either a) remember your amazing wins in the past, or in your case b) think of the wins that will most definitely come your way.
Hope the wins show soon, and remember that you have to be in it to win it, so the more comps you enter, the better your chances of winning
Good Luck chicken xxxx JoJo xx

Blxxdy hell - they'll be in for a lot of trouble. I've just logged in and changed all details - and we wonder where identity theft comes from.0 -
Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity & Winalondonpad.com have teamed up to bring you a fresh and innovative way of raising funds.
Has anyone entered this competiton? I entered last year and I believe there has been 2 winners but the competition now seems to be on hold. I have emailed the contact details but have had no reply as would like to know if my entry is still valid. Originally if you bought an MP3 player you got an entry, then it changed to £50 entry (which I did) now on the website you have to shop with one of the recommended partners to get an entry.
Please let me know if you have an update. Many thanks0 -
There is a competition to win dinner on the Teeside Princess, but it's too late for my brain to work out the connections:

Hi folks
Just nipping in to advise a small amendment in the Comping Guide on the Spammy site List. MyChild changed hands last year & apparently no longer contact people with marketing calls. I've amended the Spam List & will remove them in a few days (so compers don't think they mysteriously disappeared!) Amended list below.
Thanks all & please do PM me with Guide amendments & I'll get on them asap!
11 Are there any sites, from experience, which are likely to generate lots of spam?
There are a few which have come to our collective attention as sites that, when used for comps, seem to generate lots of unwanted postal, email & phone call attention. These are listed below for your information, however, please do remember that this is only the collective opinion of other MSE Compers & does not necessarily reflect upon the sites themselves.

grannybiker wrote: »I If you find you're tripping over another poster, surely it can be sorted out with a few friendly PMs? I can recall several instances over the last year when this has worked for me, personally, e.g. CatOwen and I were tending to enter, and therefore spot new sci-Fi-Online comps at a similar time each day, so she left them to me; rather than "Race" ChelseaGirl to the Company ones I started going there later and only posted if she hadn't; PMed WeeOwen who also posts from Capital when I noticed they'd added comps, but I didn't have time to post them here; PMed Jujugaboo to say "I'll stop - you carry on!" when I realised they'd also started posting from the GoodToKnow email .... It's not rocket science, these are just a few examples, and I bet I'm not alone?!
Anyhow, I'll just wind up this rather long-winded post with an apology to anyone I've inadvertently offended or upset, either in sharing my opinion, or sharing a comp I've found.
:T Let's hope we can keep this forum a friendly and happy place where we can enjoy our (sometimes very lucrative!) hobby. :T

Sorry but I never got your PM. If I have comp usually via e-mail and if its not on the website I then post it. I tend to do the Goodtoknow ones because I think I get the e-mail earlier than others but then I don't always post as elverman does too. I don't believe in ownership on any comps, its a free for all forum. I don't even know who posts what as I don't really pay much attention as I am too busy rushing to enter them.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0
