Have been thinking about the 11 in 2011 that TPA started....

    Home / Simplify :
Do a little housework everyday so shouldnt need a big blitz once a week. Hoovered upstairs and stairs today :D
Keep freezer and cupboard inventories so no need to spend nilly nilly.
Declutter the loft and ebay/carboot/charity everything. 2 more items sold and 5 more posted yesterday :D

    Yard / Horses:
Keep my tack/feed room tidy and floor swept! Swept this morning
Try and make horse treats rather than buy them
Clean my tack at least once a month Done! Minging! And cleaned bit and numnah :D
Get Danny fitted for a new saddle this spring

    Money:
Try to make my OP target on the mortgage challenge
Work out a grocery challenge budget and stick to it.
Persuade DansDad we dont need the full HD Sky packagae and can get it cheaper with cable (and get cashback too!) Ah going to forget this one as the difference isnt that much ....
Increase my ISA as much as possible and transfer it to a better rate

In general be a nicer person as I find myself getting increasingly waspy...

And lay off the baileys..Have been bailey - less for 3 days :D.

So smug looks all round then :p

    Update from 13th

I still have a full freezer and cupboards ... check

Grocery spend to date for me, him and th'animals = £111.59 (should only need bread/milk/eggs) estimate another £20 for end of month (although cats may need a bag of biscuits) Underestimated. £21.77 on 10kg biscuits and gourmet food for old lady nothing for me or DansDad though...:o

Diesel spend £75.01 for 49.86 litres have 100 miles to go on this tank then estimate another £40 to end of month check

Horse spend (food & bedding etc) £223.95 estimate £10 bedding to end of month. Farrier due next month. Winters expensive! But this is split with ma.... Haylage should last 3-4 weeks, food for 2 weeks, bedding hopefully enough...

Mortgage OP's £142.22 Hoping to OP another £100...

    :(

Not been the best of days either apart from the weather, but hey ho chin up! I did save £120 on our works van insurance :A

Well done on ebay - I've found ebay this January to be great for selling things, in the past I've struggled in January as it felt like everyone was trying to sell, maybe there are just more buyers, who knows.

Thanks Zeddy - not everything has sold and that includes all postage. I've just chucked loads on there, most of it 99p starts.... I go in fits and starts so will blitz this month probably then do nothing until June :rotfl:

Have spent MORE money today.... £9.81 in Sainsbergs BUT only bought what I needed even walked past the book clearance section :D then £45 on diesel, which has given a grand half a tank so I now know exactly what Vera the Frontera will cost to fill right up.. I also did my tyre pressures :A (Although they were all down especially the offside rear at 8psi)

Am being stabbed by a nurse with a flu jab later... better late than never....:rotfl: Roll on tomorrow day orf... And lost 7lb this week...hooray :D Oh and ....

    £100 OP to mortgage
£59.21 to car fund (tax due next month)
    £75 to spends account
    £50.00 to ISA

    Good day!

Does this mean that you were drinking 7lbs of Baileys a week

    What a lush :rotfl:

Running away to hide before you can beat me up :)
    Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0
    ISA challenge start 2019 £3000/£1500 (50%)
  • This is where all the secret baileys drinking was going on.

Great weightloss and ebay results so far this month. I have been a lazy moo and not listed anything yet, which is really silly. Might try and do some tomorrow on a 10 day listing if people are saying it is going well.
