Have 21 bits now listed on th'ebay now with a bid too :j Been up in the loft and sorted through 3 boxes/bags so have a charidee bag, have chucked stuff the rest listed on th'ebay apart from one lamp which I've deceided to keep. Batch cooked a huge amount of meat and veggie chili tonight so more meals in the freezer :D

We are day 4 without heating or hot water.... Its a race to have a shower before you freeze, although my hands were pretty red when I'd finished this afternoon! DansDad has bought more coal today, so at least the living room is warm. There is something to be said about being a little on the chilly side with regard to weight loss.....:D

Back to work tomorrow we have a test in the afternoon, a friend of ours. Her second go fingers crossed for her.

DansDad is gritting so keeping him busy and out from under my feet

At last the simple things like hot water.....

We had the gas man out again last night and its the pump thats gone so we can encourage it to start up and we have heating... The animals are very grateful :j Although the heatings been on since 730 this morning. Thing is I turn it off and then we need to encourage the pump again.... In the next few weeks we'll have new radiators and pump :D

Have been off today. Sorted out the airing cupboard. Have listed another 10 things on ebay. This weekend is free listing and have 2 rugs, a horse vest, curtains and my old driving instructors roof board to sell.

I have done anther NSD today :D

I plan on having a monthly 'statement' if you like. So at the end of the month I'll list: Grocery spend, Pet spend, Mortgage OP's, Gas and Electric statement, Fripperies spend also inventory the food in the house. Hopefully this'll help keep me on track then for the rest of the year seeing this... :o

Now I have an electrical problem

DansDad came home last night about 645 and put the kitchen light on then the kettle. The lights went out  the same thing happened when he turned on the microwave, and oven  When the freezer kicks in the light dim

Next door had had a rat infestation and chewed some of their wiring and joists (so much so that they lost their bedroom ceiling) but the wiring looks ok... The fuses are not blowing.

Anyway after protracted chats with BIL and his gas fitter friend and his electrical friend (countrywide chats!!) we think its a lack of supply coming into the house....

There is new building works going on up the road and they'd just started the mains works there so hopefully its not in my house :( This means I cant cook anything, cant have the heating on, grrrr  Never rains does it???

Leccy sorted:j We had the neutral wire out at where the power comes into the building so electric board sorted and no money out :D (apart from DansDad who bought dinner)

Spent £55 at L*dl today so now have enough food for at least 2 weeks if not more (apart from milk) Had a lovely ride out on Danny who was behaved for the most part until I had to get back on after crossing the railway... *sigh. They have a new next door neighbour who arrived today, much squealing and gnashing of teeth....

'Working' at home tomorrow, so will get some dusting done, and have a delve under the stairs, see if there's anything ebayable there...
