Oh DansMum
How terrible.
I'm sure you did everything you could (hugs)Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
Phase 1 - Emergency Fund - Complete :j
Phase 2 - £20,000 Mortgage Fund - Underway0 -
Just think - better to have done something than nothing at all. That would feel far worse.
Be kind to yourself. That is not nice sweetie.0 -
I know you're right and thank you for that.... But I think you always question yourself and whether you could have done better. For instance I now remember I didnt get her chin up and head back, so did I open her airway enough? But I could hear her 'mechanically' breathing while I was doing the chest compressions... I'll also never forget the colour she was....:( She was 51... I think you newver hope you have to do it for real....
I'm OK although could quite happily start smoking again  I did have a drink the other day too - and thats from a boring teetotaller....
On the flip side. This lovely white stuff has put paid to work again... Although I am currently at work waiting for someone who wants a gift voucher. They said they'd be here at 10.... I'll give em 20 minutes then off to get rock salt and help clear our off road site then hopefully I can clear the backlog before Christmas!!!

It's only natural I suppose to feel you could have done better - but as you say, you could tell it was working. You did all you could, so well done. What a terrible shock for you all.
Still only 1" here - don't know whether to be relieved or glad! Can't get to work as only 15 miles away it was snowbound this morning but feel a bit of a fraud tbh!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
