princess loki , thanks for the birthday cake :p

ariel is on the freebies board , you have to do a short survey , seems you get best opportunities if you say you have kids and use persil or daz in my case.

    good luck xxx

I was really good when I went into town and only spent £4.99. Got to love Iceland selling 4 pints of milk for £1.

    Hello all..

Well thanks for the valuable info Princess and everyone..

    Today so far I have..
    • got cheapie school shirts for DD1 from Mr A and also reduced boots for her as well (£13 saving)
    • went onto Princess and others recommendations and got accepted for Ariel and Bold offers..:jthink having 2 kids must help. First time I have gone for freebies and easy it was too although hate to think how much spam I will now probably get
    • Missed out on RHS freebie seed packets but got some parsley and basil seeds online for £1.49 each and no P&P so the days of buying overpriced, unhealthily rapidly grown plants in the supermarket (which then die) are now gone..woo hoo:T
    • OH planted winter salad in the coldframe
    • Applied for top deal cash (instant access) ISA for both me and OH- will get more than putting against mortgage and at moment these emergency savings are sitting in a saving account earning 0.001% or something equally miniscule. First time I have had savings to move about..takes some getting used to
    • HM soup for lunch and HM casserole with everything from freezer/fridge so LSD for me today
    • plan to pack for my holiday (we go next Thurs eve -:j) and go to the allotment tomorrow so should be another LSD
Have a lovely evening and weekend all.

Hi all, I've had a lovely relaxing day today. OH and I went to see the comedian Dave Gorman last night so mum had the kids for a sleepover. I woke up at 10.30 this morning!
    Today I:
    1) Have had NSD.
    2) Took T to a birthday party - 40 4-5 year olds having a disco. What brave parents :). He had a great time even if he did sit on lap for 99% of it.
    3) Present and card from stash and reused wrapping paper.
    4) Caught up on a couple of episodes online of The Office ( American version - it does make me chuckle). This is MSE cos I was going to buy the DVDs but this way is free.
    5) Did SC, pig clicks, checked banking etc.
    6) Checked on a video I am selling on ebay.
    7) Leftovers for lunch and all meals from stores.

Not much else really... feel like I have been v lazy.

Well done catmiaow - hope you will continue toi check in with us now you are debt-free.

Happy birthday picasso _party_ hope you are having a good day.

    See you tomorrow, L x

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
