Happy Birthday for yesterday Halight. x
Was woken to drilling this morning, they are doing something to the road at the end of mine and it was extremely loud. Didn't help that I struggled to sleep last night, don't know why.
Pain definitely easing, am weaning myself off the painkillers slowly, managing with 3 doses a day instead of 4, and am also having just the co-codamol rather than that and the ibuprofen. :T
Got a kiss off DD when DS was dropped of by his Dad, so that was nice. He is going to a birthday party, so was going to wait here and then wander to his mates to get a lift. He has used the opportunity to go out and play for an hour, hope he remembers to come home in time! He also has a party tomorrow where they are going indoor sky diving, so that should be a lot of fun. Am going to pick DD up from her Dads then go and watch him.
Would like to do some baking today, although its risky as with the kids not here I'm likely to scoff the lot! Well done nmlc on your weight loss, thats fab. Unfortunately I have far more bad days than I do good days, so weight loss isn't very forthcoming here!
JackieO - love hearing about Basil!0 -

Morning All,
Had a bit of a lie in today and really enjoyed getting up slowly and pottering. First load in WM, and bathrooms need cleaning. Probably run the vac round upstairs as well.
Popping into town with DS3 to get his waterproof gear for his geography trip next week end, and will try and get a pie dish (mason and cash) to match my other three from the charity shop yesterday, a bargain at 99p! Thought I may be able to pick up the odd one from TK's or somewhere like that.
Baking for me this afternoon. Had a request for choc chip cookies and maybe a cherry cake for DH, plus may make a lasagne for the freezer.
DH is in the garden today, as it's fine, finishing off our new raised beds. Hoping to grow lots of veg this year.
Elona and NMLC you put me to shame, I lost 2 stone last year and have been messing about ever since. Need to get my dieting head on:o
Happy Birthday Halight:bdaycake:

Afternoon everyone.
Been busy this morning. Had to collect my Lily Lolo makeup from sorting office as I wasn't in when they tried to deliver it the other day. Then bought some more sand for the sandpit outside as it's a couple of years old and got loads of bits in it and two more coat hooks for the porch. Kids winter coats are so bulky they keep falling off when I hand more than one on there.
Dd is REALLY whingy and clinging to her dad. She's full of snot so think it will be a dose of calpol before we got to a 1st birthday party this afternoon. DS is looking forward to going and asked me as soon as I got up if we could go to the party now :rotfl:
Not much other OS going on. Have no marg or butter for baking so need to do some shopping tomorrow.
Weather hit and miss here so more washing inside. I do get sick of the clothes horse being up continually in our bedroom
Went out to see Avatar in 3D last night and had a quick bite to eat in Pizza Hut. Soooooo not MSE at all but was a fab night although I do find 3D a bit hard to watch sometimes
nmlc - Congrats on the weight loss :T Do you count calories or do you literally just watch what you eat and do loads of exercise??
NPM - I love the Sorrento headpiece - it's gorgeous
Halight - Happy 30th Birthday for yesterday
Sistercas - Happy birthday to Mr SC
Right I am sure there are others that i've forgotten but I need to dash and get some housework done before this afternoon.
Hugs to those that need them. Have a good Saturday OS or not.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife
