I agree! 'Blagging' the system to get 'something for nowt' is NOT moneysaving...

The implication if the thread is to use this info to your own advantage (!). Reminds me of a thread about taking food from Hotel Restaurants when abroad, secretly putting stuff in your bag (even though the signs in the restaurant & local laws forbid this)....the answers were so rabid it was untrue! 'I've paid for it' 'so I can do what I want', etc......not moral at all & illegal.

the implication of this thread is that premier inns are making a geniune offer of 100% satisfaction guarantee, and gumpo has pointed out they stand by that offer without quibble

its re-assuring that if you did not have hot water...which to me is a serious flaw in service the company would honour their pledge

blagging a free room is no doubt what some would do if they had the choice. the same as any other money back if not satisfied guarantee on anything, but thats premiers inns problem if they get caught by the blaggers

its premiers inn idea not gumpos

    anal person...for gods sake

Ynot....but this forum is about MONEYSAVING....not the policies of Hotel Groups! Sorry...the title of 'stay for free at premier inns' just implies that you can use the information posted to get a free room! There are loopholes & there is information that can be abused.....If Premier get a glut of bookings where, say 'there is no kettle', 'no sachets of coffee' etc...from moneysavers then this policy will be pulled.

Same thing has happened with a lot of discount codes for say cheap flights/dvd rental trials.

i agree the title does imply that, and it caught my eye so i checked the post out, but calling the person who posted a very good offer from premier inns an anal person is way over the top

as for the forum not being about moneysaving....i would argue moneysavingexpert is the blaggers bible, get something for free, exploit banks, loopholes, grabbit while you can, freebies, consumers revenge says it all, its probably because of this site all these discount codes you mention have got pulled

    great site i love it

and anyone who now saves money on a sub standard premier inn room because of an offer gumpo highlighted will be thankfull, and yes the blaggers will cash in as well.

What I'm saying is that it is anal to 'promote' this.......i've no doubt countless people now will 'lose' coffee sachets, claim there is no kettle, put a stain on the bed sheets, etc...hence premier inns will lose a lot of money unfairly. I just think by highliting this price promise & with the inflamatory title thread it WILL be abused.

I actually work for Travelodge and I am horrified by what Gumpo has posted.

People like him will ruin Premier Travelinn's policy for other people. All hotels have this kind of refund system, but, cummon, lets be fair, why should they have to fork out for people that look for faults that can be easily sorted out.

Gumpo - can you honestly say you sleep well at night??
