Stay for free at Premier Travel Inns

If this has been posted before apologies to all but if not how did everyone miss it!

Premier travel inn have a 100% satisfaction policy. This means that if you can find ANYTHING wrong then you don't have to pay. This is fully legit. I have reclaimed the price of my room recently at two different hotels.
Once for a faulty alarm clock and once for the tea and coffee not being there. Both places gave me a full refund without quibble. All you have to do is look around and if you spot anything wrong have the bottle to ask for them to invoke this deal. The quote beneath is from their website, I know it says business customers but I was there on a weekend with OH when I claimed.
And Premier Travel Inn is the only hotel chain to offer customers its unique 100% satisfaction guarantee, so business travellers can rest assured that if they do not receive a good quality room, comfortable surroundings and friendly service, they won't be expected to pay.

I'd rather just pay £15 a night to travelodge and not spend the night looking everywhere to find a minor fault.

If I was working there and you told me those faults, I would have said "then why did you not come to reception and ask for a new (alarm clock/tea and coffee); all you had to do was ask".

Thats the whole point I did go and ask for these items. I got them and the room came free. It's their policy not mine and so far they have fully lived up to the advertising.
By the way it was a receptionist that origionally put me on to this.:D

IBIS and Holiday Inn have a similar policy I think.

I once got a free night at an IBIS because there was no hot water in the morning, although I had to argue the point.

I guess this is very similar to the popular tesco pricing loop hole.

    God,

I knew there were some anal people on the forum but that takes the biscuit. Encouraging people to look for faults.....get a life.

But again it can be compared to Tesco policy. If you're staying there, why not see if they have made such an error that gives you the room free? Isn't it just like browsing through the meat counters at Tesco to see if they are overcharging on anything? No harm in looking!

I have actually claimed rooms back twice under this polic - both times were genuine, I hasten to add.

Both times, in 2 different locations, we had no hot water in the morning, which resulted in freezing cold showers!

Simpley mentioned this in reception and the room was reimbursed, so it is helpful if used correctly.
Nice Shoes & Expensive Designer Handbags, are my downfall!

Ynot-look at the thread title 'stay for free at premier Travel inns'. The title does not say 'if you find a fault with your room you can ask to be reimbursed'! It's just a way for very anal people to try & blag something for nothing...the title will encourage people to find or dare I say it 'make' faults. If there was a kettle missing I'd just go to reception & ask for another one!

This board is great-some usefull info for all BUT there is a componenent who just want something for nothing & will 'blag' it any way they can. This 'moneysaving' (if you can call it that) is in my opinion verging on being anal & a bit pyschologically (can't spell that!) 'odd'.

Come on....lets face it the thread title is basically saying 'how to blag a free room'.

While it was quite thoughtful of GUMPO to post this here, I agree that there is a moral element at work.

I think if you haven't got hot water, or the shower isn't working, or something really wrong with the room, then it's OK to claim your money back, esp if they can't put it right. But if you keep doing it, next time when you check in, who knows, they may flag up your details on the screen and might not let you stay overnight. Wouldn't that be embarrassing!

At the end of the day, it's OK to moneysave, but I think we have to be careful how we do it.
