I got some salted peanuts in Kwik Save, less than 30p for 500g, they looked 'cheap' yet on the small print on the back of the pack it said KP FOODS.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:
I have done reading too!

I used to work for a company who sold a food item to all the major stores and the likes of Harrods and Happy shopper got exactly the same product just different packaging0

HALFORDS OIL - up until recently was actually Duckhams Oil. Sorry, not 100% sure about it now as Duckhams oil has a greenish tint to it which the Halfords Oil does not.
Maybe someone here can confirm that this is still the case.
I heard this through a classic car owners club of which one member worked for halfords at the time.
Halfords Oils are actually very good. Comparible to Basic big brand oils like
Castrol etc.
In fact, most Halfords branded car parts are actually right up to original equipment specifications and higher. However for cars like Volvo, Saab (i.e. swedish made) etc stick to Original brand bits. Compare the weight of a Volvo oil filter with a Halfords one and you'll see what I mean.0 -
If you like Red Bull then try Tesco's own brand called Kick.
I was tired of paying £0.80 to £1.20 for Red Bull so had nothing to lose by setting up a blind tasting (the diet version though, too many cals in non-diet).
My friend put a can of red bull and a can of tesco kick in seperate glasses. I sipped both a few times and then chose the Tesco Kick as the real Red Bull which kind of amazed me as I've tried red bull immitations in the past and they all taste rough.
At 21p a can, cheaper for the 1ltr bottle it's a real money saving tip0 -

I used to work for Weetabix and can confirm that they make all supermarket's own label wheat biscuits. They all come off exactly the same production line and the recipe is identical.
Think M&S choc biscuits in tins are made by Fox's as I bought some last xmas and some of the biscuits were identical to Fox's (lovely too!).
Have been told by Husband who is a builder and has installed MFI's Diplomat range of built in cookers/hobs etc that these are actually made by Stoves.0 -
yes i love to see who makes what:j HEATHER :¬) :T
