Does anyone know who makes perfume for Next?
I bought Just Pink recently and I think it smells similar to Estee Lauder Pleasures.A woman will forgive and forget but she won't forget what she's forgiven!0 -

philips were the bees knees when i grew up, i have a philips tv now but that was cos i got a 5 year warranty for hardly anything, i want a samsung or panasonic next time, they, along with lg and sony are decent and have always been good, lg used to be goldstar and they used to be a bit cheap thoughthings arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back thenMercilessKiller wrote: »BH is my best mate too, its ok

I would definitely disagree. I am very familiar with both scents and they are both very different.-Keep your eyes to the sunshine and you would not see the shadows-

I used to work for Panasonic and they own and patent most of the innards to tellys so they are just a label and spec thing0

These are one of the most sensitising ingredients for people with excema and why anyone would want to put paraffinium liquidim ("Baby Oil"!) on their skin or their babies is beyond me.Try using Hemp oil ,Olive oil,Rosehip Oil ( cold pressed)on your skin you will be suprised.
Same with bar soap used to use imperial leather can't now biggest ingredient in all bar soap sodium tallowate (cow, pig, goat fat you are washing yourself with lard!) a host of preservatives (to stop it going off)and parfum to mask the lovely (sic!) natural smell.
Real soap is made with olive, palm oil or other nut seed oil and has little or no preservatives.
Now I say If I cant eat it I wont use it.
Ecover make fantastic cleaning products which are all vegetable based and super biodegradable,I use their washing up liquid as shower gel with no problems.
I buy real vegetable soap from health food stores.
I completely agree with the avoiding petrochemical thing. We no longer buy baby oil, cheap moisturisers, lip balm, many many supermarket own brand preparations, especially for babies!!!!!! think about teh following next time you see one of those soft-focus, idealised, ikea-loving fantasy adverts for baby stuff etc on the telly. You know the ones...they add to the growing sense of dissatisfaction and despair that people's lives don't match up to what is portrayed before them every day in the media. Don't get me started...
I think it's my first post, btw....:j
Liquidum Paraffinum is an exotic sounding way to say mineral oil
Petroleum by-product that coats the skin like plastic, clogging the pores. Interferes with skin's ability to eliminate toxins, promoting acne and other disorders. Slows down skin function and cell development, resulting in premature aging. Used in many products (baby oil is 100% mineral oil!) Any mineral oil derivative can be contaminated with cancer causing PAH's (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons). Manufacturers use petrolatum because it is unbelievably cheap.
-Mineral oil
-Liquidum paraffinum (also known as posh mineral oil!)
-Paraffin oil
-Paraffin wax
Petrolatum "
Most supermarkets sell veg soap now-haven't bought the animal fat ones since the seventies ( when I was a kid and my mum didn't reallytake much notice of that kind of thing.) now. They are not expensive, just check your ingredients. anything with "tallowate" is animal fat-ewww.
Pears soap-veg based- is one branded soap that's ok. although, alas, I gather it's now made in India rather than UK. The smell is so nostalgic though...
anyway, I don't use soap on my face at all, as it's quite drying...use lush facewash instead-more expensive, but no nasties.
It just feels right to be avoiding using yet more petrochemicals.
I need to find a cheap way of painting my house now without using paint containing same...any suggestions? anyone know how to make coloured limewash?0 -
I was told by my long-time friend who has worked in the business for years, that all TV's are now made by Samsung. Can anyone confirm this?0
