I agree. There is no way that Primarks trainer liner socks are the same as M&S. THe Primark ones wash out and become streched after a couple of washes - definitely not the same experience with M&S socks.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

I used to work for M&S. The Autograph perfume is the same as Chanel Allure, however they use one ingredient less, which makes it smell slightly different and less potent. However at £10 a bottle vs approx £50 , you are still making a good saving.
This however was approx 5 years ago, so it may since have changed. Also, M&S skincare products definitely are made by Clarins. We were told to use this as a selling point!
I heard about the Clarins link on another messageboard years ago, there was also something about Virgin Vie cosmetics, if my memory serves me right, somebody said they are also made by Clarins. Dont quote me on it though!0 -

i used to work in a factory making garlic bread we made for all major supermarkets from the smart price options all the way to marks and spencer's to be honest there's barely any difference apart from the packaging oh and the fact that if a large amount of the garlic butter fell on the floor our supervisors demanded we put it bk and re use it hence y i will never eat garlic bread again unless i make it at home .
the bit about this that makes me laugh is how people justify buying from m&s saying this is such quality food when they themselves cant understand that what their eating is exactly the same as someone who bought the smart price version from Asda.
i think theres alot of food snobbery and that by paying 3 times the amount for basically the same item makes someone better than the clever person who went for the cheap version.:rotfl:0 -
Next time you go down the biscuit aisle of your supermarket, take a look at the nutrional contents of digestive biscuits. Look at a branded/supermarket standard version, a 'low fat' range one and the budget label. One supermarket's cheapo digestive biscuits had 0.1g more fat per 100g and 40 calories fewer per 100g than the 'low fat' version. Plus it was a third cheaper! Works out each cheapo biccy has 6 fewer calories.0

I brought Tesco Value cheese and onion crisps (6 pack) and they taste so yummy, plus they are just a small bag, so less calories but the bag is full. Nice for crisp cravings!Wins for 2022: Hydratem8 Water bottle, diary, flowers, Good food show tickets, childrens books x3,
