    I've been Money Tipped!
Wine drinkers....a glass of wine is workable into calories. Personally I'm not a fan of any of the low calorie wines, but occasionally one finds a drinkable half bottle, which helps. Other wise a screw top is the way to go.

Make sure you really are drinking a glass, not a big glass (DH pours two glasses worth at a time, its a slight bone of contention ;)...or should that be beaune of contention, lol)

Then make supper fit it in....I hate to refer back to this again, but a glass of champagne and a plate of oysters is a low cal meal. :)

    Morning
I see the majority of us calorie count :) Me too. I find it soo hard though to eat the calories they say I should - I manage 1200 max a day, eat till I'm full and get my 5 a day. According to the calorie count site I should eat 1700 a day. I may have to add a glass of wine into the mix as I have plenty of that at home :D
Anyway, healthy eating, good night sleeps and drinking plenty of water has started. Exercise (other than an hrs hobble at lunch a day) has not. Should really crack on with this.
    Have a nice day peeps

Drinking water - something I need to do more of. I am a tea fiend (decaffainted only). I love green tea and redbush. Really should try to work more water into my daily routine though.

Today's calories are over 1200 already. We're having haddock with something later... mother bought garlic bread :( which I will avoid in favour of cauliflower with cheese sauce (not as bad as it sounds). Really don't want to go over 2000 again today.

Oh, I forgot to say... I bought a spray oil from B&M today. It said on the back that it's rapeseed oil. I have no idea whether it's any better or worse for you than vegetable/sunflower oil, but you only need a couple of sprays to make the pan oily (can't really dry fry as it all sticks to the frying pan). My turkey bacon didn't taste any different than normal when using it.

CompletelyLost- I am also a green tea fiend but I'm the only one who drinks it in work so I only drink water during the day and maybe have a cup of green /peppermint/ hot honey/ hot lemon in the evening - its the only way otherwise I think I would turn green from the amount I drink :D

  • gosh i'm rescuing this from the third page of the forum!

So far gained about half a pound this week :(
I've not been to the gym since sunday

Finally got around to making fruit crumble with cereal topping which someone suggested last month. Microwaved a sliced pear for 3 minutes then put cereal on top and me & OH had half each. I'll do it again.

Well done to Vixs, Coco and Leo!

I've also lost 2lbs woohoo! I set myself a schedule and unfortunately I'm 6lbs heavier then I planned to be now.. Doh. Still I've started to bike to work so I'm hoping the 2lb per week lose will keep up (if I sit on my hands to avoid the chocolate!)

LIR I'm the same with wine! I've come to the conculsion that if I REALLY want a glass I can have it. I mix it with diet lemonade and lots of ice and use one of the little bottles (3 for £4 at the moment not the cheapest way to drink wine but if it avoids me going back for a second I'll pay it) That way I don't feel quite so guilty and enjoy it even more because it is a treat.

I've got 19 weeks until my wedding and still have 2 st 10lbs to lose! I know it's just about possible at the moment but my final fitting is in 15 weeks so will settle for the nearest figure I can get to that weight.. Fingers crossed!

Half a pound for me this week which I'm quite pleased with as I'm suffering extreme bloat at the moment!
