I use the Asda website..! We shop there so most of the products we eat are on there. With things made from scratch I roughly guesstimate the weight of each thing. I am a tad obsessive, I must admit.

today's calories - 1702 :o And I still feel a bit peckish as I had my tea early (well, 4pm... that's early for me).
thanks also shop there and didnt realise that was on website

www.mysupermarket.co.uk and www.weightresoursce.co.uk are good sites to look up calorie values. I've recently bought the Calorie, Carb and Fat Bible 2010. Am a bit miffed actually that it cost me just over a tenner when years ago you could pick up a leaflet style book from the newsagents for a couple of quid. I suppose though that each year many new products are added to the list hence it's hefty size. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    Morning
I see the majority of us calorie count :) Me too. I find it soo hard though to eat the calories they say I should - I manage 1200 max a day, eat till I'm full and get my 5 a day. According to the calorie count site I should eat 1700 a day. I may have to add a glass of wine into the mix as I have plenty of that at home :D
Anyway, healthy eating, good night sleeps and drinking plenty of water has started. Exercise (other than an hrs hobble at lunch a day) has not. Should really crack on with this.
    Have a nice day peeps

    Hi all,

Can I join in please Dragon, 7lbs in March would be a great target for me.

Have been dieting on my own since the New Year and could do with a bit of motivation, have had a stinking cold the last couple of days and have hit the biscuit tin a bit hard as a result. But determined to get back on the dieting/exercise horse and this thread may help give me that extra shoove :)

Well I'm pleased to report a 2lb loss this week. My last weigh in was last Wed so that's what I used for my starting point for March. Not been a great week for me. Not been able to get out running because of work and a sore leg. Also, have eaten a lot - ok a lot of free food but it just seems so much. I cant get my head round the fact that I can eat sooooo much on slimming world and still lose weight.
Yesterday I had fruit and yohurt for brekkie, 2 Alpen Light bars for a snack, SW chips with chicken breast and greek salad for lunch. Dinner was 2 lamb chops with fat trimmed, Sw chips and more greek salad. About 9pm I had a cup of tea and a Curley Wurley. That is a LOT of food and is pretty much representative of what I would have most days. Yet the weight continues to shift so I'm well happy if not a bit confused?
    Anyway, good luck all. :)

    Well done losers :)

I've been a bit lax with calorie counting since the last weigh in so not sure what this Friday's weigh in will reveal. I'll carry on with my swimming and trying to be healthy and see what happens.

Like you Alexnikov, I have been a bit lax with calorie counting too but I need to start doing it again as while I have been eating healthily with only the odd treat, I do think I have been having larger portions than I should and that´s why I haven´t lost anymore weight. Anyway, we´re only a few days into March so I am really going to try hard to lose the 7lb this month. My mum has said she will buy me some new trousers for Easter instead of an Easter egg so I want to have dropped a dress size by then.
    Have a good afternoon everyone.
