March has got off to a terrible start for me and I'm really trying hard this morning to not beat myself up over it, not very successfully.

I'm feeling really down in the dumps at the moment, a lot of it related to my body image so I could really do with some words of wisdom to help me stay focussed.

Oh no! Try not to feel too down :( we're only at the start of the month and I'm sure you're gonna do great and feel fantastic by the end of it! I agree, it's good idea to go out and have a long walk - it will probably perk you up and if not at least you will feel like you've done something good :) I know it's a bit extreme but why don't you try cutting out as much wheat and dairy as much as you can this coming week (too hard for me to do long term but if I have something I need to look great for this is what I try to do, and it works!) and I'm sure you can look FABULOUS for the party with no visable lumpy bits!!!
Good luck and keep your chin up chick! Here's to an amazing sunny rest of March

  • Have done my first week of March weigh in-have decided to do it ever 6 days this month so that my last one is the last day of March and get my weight in on time for once! I am happy to report a lovely loss of 2lbs which I am determined is going to stay off and be increased in the next few weeks. I WILL LOOK FABULOUS IN A BIKINI AGAIN!!!!! :p
Anyway off to go do a quick work out and keep at it all you losers out there :rotfl:

Bluebellbunny and Valentina2 Thank you for your kind words and well done to both of you for losing weight this week and receiving that compliment at the party last night. :A

I've been out for a walk in the gorgeous sunshine which cheered me up. It was very cold though and the children were complaining!

I did have a long soak in the bath planned for last night, but the unexpected long phone conversation with my Mum put paid to those plans :( I'm definitely going to make time for it tonight though and have a good book to keep me company too :)

Hi all, just back from hols. Sorry I never got to post my end Feb weight but it was 134.6lbs (Dragon, can you record my starting weight on post #1?). So I lost 2.1lbs in Feb. Not as much as most of you but I have been stop-starting for a year now so it is progress for me! :o

Just weighed myself this morning and I am now 133.2lbs wayhey!!! 1.4lbs lost while on hols!   I must go away more often. I feel slimmer and am so determined to keep it up. Still off the chocolate and finding it a lot easier!

Will catch up with you all later xo

OK, as a result of trip to the hospital last week they suggest I eat a bit more to try and bump metabolism a bit. TBH, I'm no terribly helpful but m going to make an effort to eat earlier (they suggest I have breakfast before not after morning chores) and I'm also taking b vits, which apparently I need.

I'm going to make sure I'm being extra good at adherence not just to calories, but metabolism bumping things (i.e. working ona more complicated equation than calories n v calories out) this month and see if I can get the four lbs this month.

Well, I have GAINED 3 lbs this week - am totally gutted. Had a busy week and then had 5 visitors staying all weekend, also my son's birthday yesterday so I have spent all weekend eating and drinking. Will try harder this week and will make a real effort to keep involved with the thread and not just leave it til next month. Well done to all those who are losing, please inspire me!!
