Hi all
will weigh in either Thursday or Friday morning but doing well at the moment. Have bought myself a new swimsuit and a new tracksuit and managed to go for a good walk on Friday. Planning to go for another walk on Thursday and then swimming on Friday this week. The plan is to do a combination of swimming, cycling and walking to strengthen the muscles in my hip and also to lose some weight.0 -

I have done lots of exercise this week and have been ok-ish on food (with a regular choccy-lapse but hoping that the exercise will counter that). Am staying off the wine til Fri, hopefully will be going in the right direction on Mon's weigh-in xx0

STEP AWAY from the Muller and PUT DOWN the teaspoon!
Thanks. I am limiting myself to one a day, I adore them and they're 5 for £1 atm!
Everyone is doing so well, keep up the good work guys. I haven't done too badly at all this week, am definitely still eating less since hols. I'm going out for dinner with OH this weekend but will be super restrained! The sunny weather is really motivating me to be good. Here's hoping for a decent WI on Monday!!!

I have not weighed myself for a while so I hope I'm not gaining again.
About a week and a half ago my contract ended and I haven't found the right new job/contract yet.
So I'm not dashing around the tube network and streets of London, I'm commuting up a dozen or so stairs to my loft office at home experimenting with some new IT programming technologies.
Hopefully the extra 100-200 calories of chocolate and 100 calories on average of beer or wine a day plus an extra apple is getting the calorie balance right.0 -
Hi all,
I'm new to the forums but had to join up when I saw your thread! I've just joined a gym after 3 years of sitting about doing nothing but eating (or so it seemed) I'm keen to lose a stone before my holiday in July and have managed to squeeze 2 x gym sessions and 2 x swimming sessions into my week. I'm also trying to be more conscious of what I'm eating and to reduce my calorie intake..
I'd love to join your group if it's not too late for March..I'd like to try to lose 4 x lbs during the remainder of the month and I'm hoping you guys will keep me focused!
Can you let me know if that would be ok?
Thanks in advance!0 -
^welcome to the thread. it's not my challenge but I'm sure it's fine for you to join in
Can anyoen tell me where the muller yoghurts are 5 for £1 (have I already asked this? serious feeling of deja vu :S) and if it is just the corners that are on offer?0 -
Hi Halaboo - welcome
Well done to those of you that have lost this week - Tara747, Coco1980, Bramble1 and Helenhelen :A
After my self-indulgent whinge last weekend I've been a fairly good girl this week and am feeling much more cheerful. My stomach is definitely less bloated than it was a few days ago, plus I've bought myself some shaper tights from M&S to wear underneath the dress for the party on Saturday. When I first opened the tights, I was a bit dubious about the claims on the packet because they just looked like normal tights to me, but they *do* make a difference - my tummy definitely looked flatter :j
I did break my lent promise on Tuesday and ate a 2 finger kitkat, but I didn't go on to eat any further biscs and felt really pleased that I'd managed to be restrained
I missed my regular spinning class on Tuesday, so went to one this morning instead. It was a different instructor to the one I'm used to and I found it really tough! My legs are usually a bit wobbly afterwards, but this time I had to have a proper sit down when I got home :rotfl:
I'm going to weigh-in on Saturday morning, but am trying hard to join the losers!
Nicky
