Its up to you Josie and can depend on lots of things - whether you are including buying alcohol, meat etc. - but its totally your decision...

Hi everyone Im keen to join again this month we were over by £21 last month our budgets £200 the cupboards are still bulging as is the freezer I think ive gone a bit overboard with the food and shopping at tesco online!! Our month starts 26 July to 30 Aug but it looks like ive already spent over half of the budget and its only the 28th where am I going wrong?

SOunds like you are spending to much! Are you menu planning?

If you go through what you have in and only buy the things you NEED to complete the meals then you should be able to get by if the cupbaords are bulging?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind

Update to mine, spent £6 yesterday!

Albeit on junkie type stuff, but since I haven't eaten much all week I've said some money there, so that leaves me £4 to last today :)

    £10 is hard...............

I spent around £21 today so I have say 9 left for rest of week - not bad as that included some very nice white wine and BBQ bits for today plus main meals for week...
