Hi,
Well done on winning the holiday! Hope you have a brilliant time. And keep up the good work. I'm quite new to all this debt busting as well but it feels such a relief to be dealing with it at last.

Evening all. Still clean, despite my wife asking me who I fancy in the National. And before anyone asks, I haven't even looked! Kids were excited about easter, though my son has had a virus which has knocked him back a bit. If anyone knows how to convince a 5 year old child to take his medicine I would be eternally grateful. Am looking to update my signature to include my debts in the next few days so I can monitor on here how I am doing.
Toothache is much better but had to cancel the 2nd visit because of my poorly son, so need to re-arrange ASAP. Walked/rode to the station every day I worked last week, but was hard. Made myself a promise that if it raining that I will catch a bus.
Next payday is 21st April, and have left myself £30 to survive on. All bills paid or money set aside for. Still looking at ways of making money legally to boost the bank, but inspiration will come, I hope. Have stuck to the sandwiches & soup for lunches. Did have the odd beer last week, but stayed sober! Thanks for all the good wishes from people. Means a lot to me. Still gobsmacked about the holiday. The hotel looks amazing, and want to make it special. May see if I can arrange to renew my wedding vows while out there. Been told that I might be able to do that on the bridge too. Might suggest it as to the people I won the holiday off of. I am sure they could add it to the publicity shots etc. Will give me added incentive to loose weight too!
Time for bed people. Sleeping a bit better too.0 -
Have you tried match betting?
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=41
If you can't walk away without mugging it on something else then you will struggle to show a profit , but a good way of making fairly good cash , especially if you know how to place a bet.
As usual read , read and read again .
ask for help and don't spend what you ain't got ( start small)
But you might find this interesting and profitable.0 -
Thanks Globalds, but no thanks. Don't think it would be advisable to try. As a recovering compulsive gambler I think it would be a bad idea.0

Morning all. Happy easter to one and all. Up with the dawn with my boy and dozed on the sofa for an hour or so, till my wirlwind daughter woke up! Breakfast of poached eggs, toast and ham. Working at 2pm so going to have some fun (!!!!) on the Wii before hand. Have a challange for myself. Have £3.10 in my pocket. Want to see how long I can keep it there!0

Think it's a good idea not to even try matched betting! Have you tried the daily clicks on some cash back sites? I know it doesn't seem alot at a couple of pence a click but give it a few months and it'll soon add up.0
