Just received a call from a colleague asking for assistance at work. Going in early for a 12 hour shift. Feel a bit yucky and head full of things going around and around. Really need to get some things down on paper to have a look at them.
Does anyone know about lottery law in the ukor where I would find such info?0 -
Will, check your e-mail when back. All you need is there.

Will check that ASAP tomorrow. Tonight during my break/s I will be running through the idea and writing everything down. The idea is to have a brainstoeming event of 30 minutes where I put down even the most ludicrous thought in case it makes sense in the cold light of day. I realise now that this cannot be just my project, I need to get others on board, but that can wait until I have finalised the business plan. Failing to plan is planning to fail "apparently".
Right, back to work, a cup of tea and crap loads of paperwork. Its gonna be a long night.0 -
It is important to put thing on paper and the brainstorming is good - you can always weed out the ones that are no starters; and try the ideas that might be worth trying.
On the other board I have put under Tools a ten step roadmap from idea to its realisation (or discarding). When there, please read the Values bit (it explains what this is about); and check the Tool. Under Tools I think there is a tread where members have introduced themselves. Would be a good idea to do it.
There you can share - there are people designing websites; business consultants and plain good sense people who will be there for you. As to chickening out - sorry, dear, but I am there as well.

Mad night, 1st time I have stopped! Far too busy to do anything or think of anything other than what I paid to do! Too much caffeine in my system is making me hyper and need to really slow things down. I can hear my bed calling me and need it's warm embrace. Am getting far too old for 12 hour shifts and 18 hour days.
Oh for a lottery win!0 -
Have a good rest William. You have an idea - fantastic. Hooray.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

A quiet day. Slept till 2pm, then played Wii with the kids for an hour. Light snacks for tea, then shower and veg out time watching Unthinkable with Samuel L Jackson. Turned out not exactly a veg out movie but very thought provoking.
3rd NSD on the trot, but not that difficult as I didnt leave the house! 12 hours overtime tomorrow. Have decided that all overtime should be split 3 ways (Net). 1 third to debts, 1 third to savings/slush account & the last third to fun.
Have downloaded a lot of reading material needed but I will plow through it gradually and not rush.
An hours cricket before bedtime . Still clean.

Good morning all. Been a hard working slog these last few days. Regarding the idea I have fermenting...I have read up on a few things. The cost for the start up cost be prohibitive but all things considered its not insurmountable. I have discovered that I need a licence, which will be about 7K, then the web design, set up, running, we are looking at another 4k on top. So, all I need is a lottery win and I can make some money! In all seriousness, I think I could realise a few backers if I have put together a serious business plan. Of the 21 pound I had left, I still have 18! That means I have only another 3 NSD's and it could be a pound a day!
Keep the faith people0
