    condom? really? *cringe*:rotfl:
make sure you check none of your guests are ashmatic as ibuprofen is not suitable for them, maybe just sub it for paracetamol
hmmm mens gift?? maybe hunt around for a male version of the bracelet?

Why not give out condoms, I want people to practice safe sex! :rotfl: I think it'll be funny! I think I'll leave them out of the older men's bags though!

Thanks for the ibuprofen warning, I don't have asthma so never even knew that! Will sub for paracetamol!
I like the idea of out of town bags - are you giving these out before you go? (just incase some things are duplicated in the guest's own toiletries bag)

I don't really know what to do about the OOT bags, I quite like the idea of them appearing in their rooms with a nice little note, I suppose it'll be quite difficult to hand them out before we go as a few guests are coming from far away and I don't think we'll see them until we see them in the airport.

Hehehe I love this! I don't know if we'd be brave enough to get close enough to actually do this though!

Birdie have you found your shoes yet? There are some really nice navy ones in my local Kew - don't know if you have one near you - will see if I can find a piccie or link in a minute.

ETA - can't find them on their website. They are satin peep toes with a bow on the front and a wedge heel.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

SM, I haven't got my beach shoes yet. I've never heard of Kew... the shoes sound nice though! You've seen my Louboutins though, haven't you?

For the ceremony, should we be getting married on the beach rather than on a paved area, I need some pretty sparkly sandals with a slight heel. Like a wedge but only about an inch and half-ish in height. I can't find anything though, it's doing my head in! The only wedges I see that are the right height are too casual/ugly!

The more I think about the doughnut cake the more I like it! It won't be a KK one (unfortunately) as the closest one to us is about an hour and a half away! For some reason the shops haven't made it to the North East yet! It's very upsetting... Anyway, I think I'll be using doughnuts from a supermarket, probably the cheapest and easiest way to get hold of lots! Actually I need to ask my manager about that as back in the days when we had money at work we used to get doughnuts if we'd hit certain targets and I'm sure they must have got some sort of discount for buying 150 doughnuts in one go, I wonder if I can wrangle that discount too! No idea how many I'd need though and it's not as if I can do a practice run!

I really want the ducks now! They'd look so cute in goldfish bowls, maybe in a shallow pool of coloured water? It definitely sounds like I've gone over to the tacky side! :rotfl:

My job for this week(ish) is to figure out how to make/get hold of a giant postcard for the photo area! I was thinking about getting a whiteboard and somehow permanently putting on the postcard markings and maybe in the address box our names and wedding date etc then people can write messages in the errr.... message area! I don't want it to be too heavy though. Hmmm, will have to get my creative thinking cap on!

We have huge sheets of polystyrene here that you could use as a backing so its very light but big enough, you could cover it in coloured card or paper.

Only problem is how to get it to you! Not sure I can use the courier for that x

How long is the party after you come back from honeymoon? Most photo places (I know Tesco do it for under £20) will print your photo onto a A1 poster - you could take the picture while you're out there, get it printed with around a week turn around when you get back, and stick it to the board.

Fab idea Dinah! The party (which still hasn't been booked, thanks to darling OH!) will be about 2 weeks after we get back so if I'm organised it should be done in time.

Thanks for the polystyrene offer too Mrs Moore! I'll keep that in mind, see what else pops into my head as I'm not sure what I'd use as the whiteboardy bit so people can wipe off the messages. Hmmmm
