Awww what a sweet photo! He looks like Big from SATC from that angle.

Daiquiris, dont forget daiquiris! Yeah it would be nice to have a welcome drink, very fancy.

Hand everyone a lei (flower necklace thingy) and a drink in a coconut, like these http://www.justforfun.co.uk/theme/Hawaiian/?&pagenum=2
Or is that tacky?! I dont know where to draw the line :rotfl:

Gosh at those prices I'm sure it would be cheaper to use real coconuts!

I'd love to go to Mexico one day, maybe next year thats where our Tesco vouchers will take us if we get enough.

I've been eyeing up those cups for ages but they're sooooo expensive and can't find any cheap enough as we'd need quite a lot!

My Mum and Dad are going to Florida in May and my Mum is under strict instructions to go to The Dollar Tree and buy loads of luau party things like leis and mini drinks umbrellas and... whatever else they have really! She's also going down to the coast and will go to one of those little shops where you can buy bags full of shells and starfish and whatnot for not a lot of money. I love my Mum!

Lulu, when you think you've tacken the tacky too far I'll still be loving it! I worry myself sometimes with how overboard I'm inclined to go with things, OH always tells me before a themed party, 'Don't take it too far!', bah, he's a stick in the mud!

Lol i loved those serving plates - and the ones shaped like leaves, they were cool.

If you used real coconuts wouldnt the drinks taste funny and you'd be covered in the fuzzy brown skin stuff :o i dont like coconuts :rotfl:

If you cant get tacky enough, you have to get one of those huge cutouts of a male & female surfer, so people can put their heads through and take pics! I got my nieces a cinderella one for their princess party last year, they put their heads through and it looked like they were in her carriage :D

This is the front of the 'passport' - deliberately made to look a bit tatty and used
