Yep, they are going down, albeit slowly!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

This is Paradise Island. I'm not going to tell you everything we hated about this place, the fact that this is the whole island though should tell you something.
This trip was the most expensive we did ($200 per person) and 5 hours of that was spent travelling to and from the island. Yes, the sand is white, yes the water is clear, but the sand is horribly uncomfortable and the water is no clearer than it is in Sosua. And once you're there, there's nothing to do until the guide tells you you're leaving.Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)0 -
Oh dear! May give that one a miss then! We want to do some sort of snorkeling excursion but we'll look to see what else is available!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

You're welcome. Don't want you to be ill or broke for your wedding day :-)Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)0

:rotfl::rotfl: Seriously, I'd be so angry if I'd paid for that! We went on a similar 'island catamaran trip' in Cuba, and when we got there it was a lovely big shack type bar and restaurant, we were server beautiful fresh lobster and the island was certainly quite big with plenty of exploring to be done, as well as the white sand and clear water *wistful sigh*Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Oooh I'll second that wistful sigh, it sounds lovely! Only 9 and a bit months until I go away! It feels like an age, I need some sun now!
My Mum was making me laugh last night, when we were in London she got a lovely dress from Monsoon but she's not sure if she's going to wear it to the wedding or not as it's 'just from the highstreet' and she wanted something more special (read: expensive!) so she's going to be looking for a posher dress when she goes on holiday to America next week but I think she's mad! Who cares where the dress is from if it looks nice? She's no stick insect so she struggles to find nice dresses that flatter her shape and are fashionable and this dress ticks the boxes! My argument is that because she spent about half of her intended budget on the dress she can then splash out on better accessories but I know she's not convinced! This is where my odd spending patterns come from, my darling Mother!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. That dress is beautifu, and at £140, I wouldn't call it cheap at all!0
-
I know, I wouldn't either! I think she had in her head that she has to spend about £300 though (for some mad reason!) so it's 'cheap' in her twisted mind! She did show some restraint in London, we went into a fairly tatty looking shop and she was trying on a dress and got the zip halfway up then saw the tag that said £900! She then pulled the zip back down, breathed out as much as possible and said it didn't fit! We scurried out pretty quickly after that!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary.
