Found another 20p this morning whilst walking the dog, that was worth braving the rain for!

Do people think the street is a wishing well or something near you.

    You're always finding something

Good job on the debt busting, there's a few people I need to convince to do that myself

There's something I've never mentioned on here before. 3 years ago I brought a house with my friend and I had a £10k loan on the mortgage as well. I went in on it purely for investment reasons as I live with my OH but it's his house and I wanted a bolthole in case we ever split up.

She moved her boyfriend in last year and I asked if they wanted to buy me out, which they did. They took on my £10k loan and gave me £5k, which I spent on laser eye surgery.

Anyway, the reason for this little confession is that I was actually £28,650.47 in debt at my light bulb moment, but I was conveniently ignoring the £10k on the mortgage. It's important to me that I acknowledge this extra £10k that I ran up, even though it's not my debt anymore.

No more debt secrets in the closet now!

well done for being brave, it's liberating when you face it all, especially when you know you've been dealing with it.

Yeah, most people think Lily. Username came from a Peugeot 306 I had, used to call it my Lil Pug. Hence the name :D

One mans rubbish is another's gold so to speak. It's a good thing you're doing everything you can to clear your debt. Luckily I don't have any although I'm moving into a house soon and buying it so gonna have about a 40-50k mortgage to clear :rotfl:
