I think HSBC have them as well :)

Oh cool, I'll have to definitely check them out (I don't have an account with them either).
I just saw your signature with your figure for your Lloyds now. Wow. That's been reduced dramatically. Congrats with that. I hope I can get mine down as fast :).

i have an account with first direct and you have to pay in at HSBC i wonder if you can still use their cash machines to do that.
Wonder how reliable they are as well, i think i would be obsessed at counting it all before i go in and making sure they give me the right amount.
I'm psyching myself up to open my 10p tin, and am dreading having to try and pay that into the bank, though i do have a tesco's savings account and they'll take any change as it saves them buying it from the bank.

Of course, but that's assuming we'd take credit to pay for it which I am guessing is a bif no no :)

i bet i'll have at least £100 in there, at least the the head and neck of a sausage dog (what i'm saving for) but it's also a lot of money that i could pay into the bank and put in savings against one of my debts

What a lovely thing to save for LT - you need your frugal luxuries and that's certainly one that you will get your money's worth from :) Good luck to you.
