Snow, omg, I had 6 foot of snow here for most of last winter. In fact there were still drifts banked up until may this year. They took a long time to melt.

woowoo. I've been a couple of times to Morzine. I used to stay in a chalet halfway up the mountain, but i can't for the life of me remember its name. Bit of a soggy area though. Too low in altitude and the rain does'nt quite turn into snow, lol I can remember one time, we all skied around in slush, wearing black bin liners, just for a laugh. ( and to keep dry ).Yuk.

We went there last Xmas and went snowboarding in torrential rain for 3 days, coming off the lifts you were going through puddles!

This is definitely something to consider if we are ever in a position to buy an apartment.

I love the actual village of Morzine and Chatel is another favourite.

Wow 6ft of snow! I find the prospect very exciting, but in reality when you have to get to work in it the novelty soon wears off!

Lol! The guy had an owl in the back of his van, but that was kind of cheating! It was quite a giggle, 30 of us wandering through the woods, whilst the guy made owl noises. Glad it wasn't Halloween though, I would of been spooked then!
