I can understand that - think maybe you should give it a week of making no effort at all, then they may realise how much you do.

And you're quite within your rights to be a moody mare, we all have those days!

I'm being one today - I have to go to the doctors this afternoon in about half an hour and I really don't want to go. OH is making me, so I'm being a child and sulking!

Definitely nothing to worry about, just a smear test, but I hate them :(

I walked there, feeling sick, and smoked two cigarettes in a row, naughty I know. All the time thinking, I can do six months travelling on my own, but this I get upset about? Daft! :o

    Done now though.

OH has promised me a lovely dinner tonight, lots of cups of tea and cuddles because he made me go.

I hate them too, I think the nurse that did my first one messed up cos it was really uncomfortable and I felt queasy all day afterwards. Went for repeat last summer after putting it off for over a year, and it was absolutley fine! :o

I'm really glad you went Becs, I've had two friends this year that needed cells lasered, so it's vile but essential!

    Oh no that sounds awful!

Off to google this and then start praying, it took me enough to build up to the test, let alone anything else :(

Hope your friends are ok now though x

Didn't mean to make you panic Becs, I'm sure you will be fine, they write to you very quickly if they find any abnormal cells and usually then it's still nothing to worry about.

    Was it your first one?

I've never been "proper" skiing. Used to live in Canada so when weather was bad I would sometimes ski to shops for milk etc (easier than sticking on snow tyres) but that was cross country so hard work but not so thrilling, I'd imagine. Bet I'd be rubbish at it...
