It's hard to stop making the effort when your that sort of person, isn't it? My sister never lets me down, so this was a one off.

Its a combination of emailing a close friend last week (no response yet), texting a friend yesterday (no response yet) and then this today. Also I have realised that although I love my best friend dearly she never ever listens to me and dismisses any worries I have by saying your so daft.

Better send a grovelling text to my sister.

OH won't be back till 8ish, and the battery on his phone has just run out :(

He's out driving the lorry for Sainsbury's, so he could get back at 8.00 or it could be 10.00!

I am learning French on line at the moment, it's bloody hard!

Perhaps having a strop wasn't a bad thing - it could be a way to start a conversation about how you feel it's always you making the effort? You can still apologise if you think you took it too far but it might be good for your sis to know a but if effort wouldn't go amiss?

Good news. Well I'm having a lovely little potter about in bf kitchen - making a garlic roast chicken with stuffing and roasts - smells great! That will knock the hangover out once and for all!
