Morning All! - yep it is me up at the crack of dawn for once
OH got called into work at half 5 so his phone woke me up - only prob is he's supposed to be looking after DD today as I have to go in so don't know if he'll be back in time - same old story never ask him to do anything for me any when I do it always gets difficult  who's idea was it to have a teacher training day just before a Bank Holiday - OOS club isn't open as it's held in the school.
Have fantastic holidays Dragon and DTB
I hate distressing Polkadot it's too scruffy for me but as the other's said I ran an open pair of scissors round the edge then sanded the surface with some sandpaper to take some of the top layer off. I only ever do it with core'dinations more info on their website here with youtube vids
Have a great day - I might be back a bit later if I have to work from homeOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Lovely day here in sunny Doncaster. I got up nice and early this morning for the bin men as they have been coming early and now look at the time  they're late!! At least I have the washing done and some tidying started.
I have also just blogged the card I made for my friend, its here if you want a peep. If anyone knows of challenges its suitable for I would be gratefulplease.

Hiya just flying on in between the mountain of jobs to do on very liittle sleep, DD with colic and DS with nightmares doesn't add up to a lot of sleep!
Flourgirl, gorgeous card. Think the challenge that Dragonllew is connected to has something to do with summer and I certainly think she looks like a little girl enjoying the summer weather. HTH x
Have you used Promarkers to colour as they have an anything goes on passion for promarkers as does sew many challenges - hey look at me sounding as if I know about challenges :rotfl:

Morning all
Flourgirl - Wow the postie has been and the card is even more special in real life and the extra!!!!!!! thankyou so much. If anyone else wants to see what the naughty girl sent me give me a sec and I will blog a pic.0 -
I am so busy not only have i still got tons for the craft fair to do i have just relised i need to do 3 birthday cards for tomorrow  why do i do it to myself? I should get into the habit of making cards at least a month in advance up i just never seem to be able to catch up to be able to do that.
Just wanted to say thanks to rainmac for the card, i opened it up as i didn't even think it would be a birthday card for me for next week. I quickly put it back once i realised. I could see it looked fab from the quick peek that i had. Was the scallop and sentiment made with cuttlebug or stampin up? Getting very obsessed with stampin up but i can't afford anything at the moment.
Also am meaning to send you something for the paperclips but as i have said i am mega busy so bare with me.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -
Good morning ladies - I've got my fingers crossed that they'll be some decent offers on this weekend - I've got my eye on a few bits - I could do with some free postage offers!!!
Scattyan - sorry I didn't join in the challenge either - I finally thought of a stamp I could use and then I just ran out of time. How many cats have you got if they've got their own wing??????
Mad-Frog - glad you are feeling better. I choose my papers first and then colour my image in to match - otherwise it would take me ages, then because I am so sad I make a note sometimes of what colour promarkers match the papers for when I use them the next time.
TiredMom - it was after he changed schools that Leo's attitude changed - I thought it might be because he was mixing with older kids - he reminds me of that hideous teenager character from Harry Enfield. Hope your DD is better today. Your black and white card is gorgeous and your handmade flower is stunning.
Rainmac - how was Robin Hood??? I don't think we'll bother seeing it - me and the OH don't like Russel Crowe.
Lei-Armstrong - your lizard card is fab - I love the bright colours!
Polkadot - your milk money envelope is fab!
Dragonllew - your beach card is lovely - those little flip flops are so cute. I really like that image too. Your buttterfly magnolia is fab too - the papers are really pretty. Love your father's day card too.
Flourgirl - your card is so pretty - the sentiment is fab!!! I think I'll have to get that stamp.
Paddingtondoo - your distressed card is lovely - I love the ticket!0
