I have a really good silicone glue ATM which doesn't leave greasy marks. I think a lot of people used to use the silicone in those great big tubes that tilers etc use which do contain some sort of grease/oil, but I've found that proper card-making silicone doesn't contain this. Mine doesn't smell either which is a bonus. I've had it ages, just got one tube left now and haven't seen it anywhere lately, the original seller no longer has it. I think I might be a bit heavy handed. I'll use less next time then will try your other suggestions.0 -

Phew! Think I've caught up now!
Important stuff first -
DTB - you should probably be in bed by now! My very best wishes for your presentation & interview tomorrow. (I'm another who didn't understand the question):)
craftygranny - Thank you very much for the beer mats. Yes, Kaitlyn does have a good memory, I have 2 cats! Sam & Suzie. Well done! to Carly on learning so fast. x Loved your strawberry goodies.
Padster - it's gut wrenching to think of your neighbour and her young family, it fairly puts things into perspective, doesn't it? (Hugs)
Rusty - Glad you're back with us - even under the influence Loved the 'tattoo' Take care! x
Mumoffour - sorry your sale wasn't as good as you hoped, so hugely dependent on who goes - better luck next time.
Now forgotten the detail of what I've just read trying to catch up Thank you for links to offers - sorry if I've not replied personally.
Thank you all very much for your concern about my eyes. I was scared because I lost peripheral vision to a stroke a few years ago. Fortunately, this latest thing doesn't seem to be anything serious but is common! and will probably be ongoing. The optician diagnosed "dry eye" and has prescribed drops & ointment with a review in a week. Amazingly, there was no charge for the appt as they are in a scheme in which treats it as a visit to your GP!
I'm so glad there was no suggestion that I give up the pc, reading etc. On a positive I've almost reached the bottom of the ironing basket! Choccy you can send yours now!:rotfl:0 -
Oh marg i'm so pleased that it doesn't seem to be anything serious. I hate it when i can't see anything. Nice that it didn't cost anything too.
Thank you ladies for all the nice comments on my strawberry goodies . I almost kept quiet but my oh said i should tell all and blog them. lol.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Good Morning everyone
Padingtondoo, So sorry to hear about your neighbour. Hearing things like this makes me want to leave the cleaning and go out and enjoy life.. You only get one. I will be thinking of you all at this very sad time.
Marg, I was going to sit and craft today.. But im packing up all my ironing to get in the post to you :rotfl:. Glad to hear that its nothing too serious with your eyes x
Ive never tried silicone glue or anything like that. Never thought of using glossy accents as a glue either. I use Anitas tacky glue, double sided tape, foam pads or my sakura quickie glue pen.
Well im stuck at home all day today waiting for another new laptop :rotfl:. So thats 2 new ones in a matter of a week. The first one i ended up letting youngest DS have and then we sold his netbook towards the new one for me thats coming today.
Can anyone tell me how easy it is to transfere all pictures and files from one laptop to another ? Thats the bit im dreading. middle DS is having this one then im selling his laptop :rotfl:.

Have you got a memory stick if so just plug it into the computer with the photos on copy & paste them to the memory stick then pop the memory stick into new computer and move the photos to a file on there.0
