I ordered myself a few bits online this afternoon, I told hubby it was the spendy elves , he didnt understand and now thinks Im totally nuts lol I explained it could be put away for my birthday - yeah right!! lol

Padster - sorry to hear about your neighbour, life really isn't fair when someone young with a young family goes too early.

Rusty - well done on finishing your card, now go and take it easy!

I use this blog to check out current sketch challenges - I'm hopeless at thinking up designs for cards but seeing a sketch can sometimes get my imagination going.

Choccy didn't manage to start OH 'haunted' card, so am off tomorrow and have all day to come up with someting. If my idea doesn't work then I'll be in touch x

Tomsmom Its prob not very mse but... Tom Holtz (Ranger) Glossy Accents is a fab glue...
It sticks anything.. it is also a good medium for making things look... glossy!!

Hassy you've got me thinking now, I never really considered using it as a glue before? wonder if it would attach magnets to pegs, will have to have a play as I get in such a mess with silicone glue and it stinks to high heaven :rotfl:

Thanks for that. Which did you use to stick the flowers on your Tilda card? Did they have fattish backs that you had to cut the stem off? Mine are rose heads similar to those and I'm wondering if I've just put too much silicone? Maybe I can try and take them off and try again with less???

Gemm I don't know about magnets, but it stuck one of my ceramic shield gas ignighters (sp) on the gas hob...!!!

It was the power pritt gel but I have used the UHU I prefer it to the silicone it doesn't blob and doesn't leave greasy marks which I found with the silicone.

There is always the good old trusty pinflair glue gel that is very good, it's like a silicone glue but with no smell.. it comes with a key you can use to squeeze out every last drop, and a syringe that you can use so you can control how much you want to use, be it a tiny drop or more...
