Padster - sorry to hear about your neighbour, life really isn't fair when someone young with a young family goes too early.
Rusty - well done on finishing your card, now go and take it easy!
I use this blog to check out current sketch challenges - I'm hopeless at thinking up designs for cards but seeing a sketch can sometimes get my imagination going.
Choccy didn't manage to start OH 'haunted' card, so am off tomorrow and have all day to come up with someting. If my idea doesn't work then I'll be in touch x2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -

I've made a couple of cards today but not taken photos yet, will blog them tomorrow. I stuck some roses on one of them, not very happy about the big blobs of silicone holding them on. Any tips for fixing them and looking neater than my blobby silicone?
I'm using Power pritt gel at the moment because it was half price at work lol normally I use UHU from this seller on ebay I find both of these great for sticking flowers and other bits and pieces .0 -

Hassy you've got me thinking now, I never really considered using it as a glue before? wonder if it would attach magnets to pegs, will have to have a play as I get in such a mess with silicone glue and it stinks to high heaven :rotfl:0 -

Thanks for that. Which did you use to stick the flowers on your Tilda card? Did they have fattish backs that you had to cut the stem off? Mine are rose heads similar to those and I'm wondering if I've just put too much silicone? Maybe I can try and take them off and try again with less???0 -

Nici - Hope your migraine eases I've never had them but they used to make my mom really ill.
DTB - Good Luck with interview I'm afraid I'm in the "you what" camp when it comes to the subject.
Padster - Big Hugs to you. It really does make it so much harder when children are involved.:(
Rusty -
Right off up the apple and pears. Was hoping to try and do some blog hopping but the internet keeps crashing and it has taken me 20 mins to read 1 page on this so blogger just isn't happening.

There is always the good old trusty pinflair glue gel that is very good, it's like a silicone glue but with no smell.. it comes with a key you can use to squeeze out every last drop, and a syringe that you can use so you can control how much you want to use, be it a tiny drop or more...Self imposed crafty stash ban: started again 22/8/10 1 whole month stash free!
