Have you got a memory stick if so just plug it into the computer with the photos on copy & paste them to the memory stick then pop the memory stick into new computer and move the photos to a file on there.

Oooh is that all i need to do :D I could manage that, just about :rotfl:. Eldest has a 8gb stick thingy somewhere so i might have to borrow that ..

MArg - Really pleased optician visit was ok, my step dad has the periferal (sp) vision problem last year, very scary. My nan used to suffer with dry eye and found the real tears a great success, you may be finding it worse at the moment because of all the pollen about.

Choccy - Make sure you only copy and past and not cut and paste until you are sure they are safely on your new laptop. You may find that you have to do it in a few folders at a time depending on how many you have.

Off to take parents anniversary card and get your treat cups in the post giggles.

    Back later X

Sorry I've not caught up with blogs yet, I'm trying to protect my eyes a bit, though it's not easy to get about with them shut! I fell asleep in the car on the way to work yesterday 'resting' my eyes, :rotfl:lucky DH was driving!

I've had to finish a much overdue wedding acceptance card today, which is ok (ish) but I used Anita's tacky glue on it and now need advice please. I couldn't get it to flow out of the nozzle so used a bit of card as a spreader. The result was a bit 'heavy' and whilst it wasn't wrinkled it made the front of the card a bit 'wavy'. I presume I used too much:o Should I not have used it for backing paper? Should it flow OK out of the nozzle?

Hassy - I've no idea about the differences, sorry I've only recently got the MS one. It worked OK for me, but agree the bonefolder does seem a bit flimsy compared to my 'proper' one.

Must go......... got to prepare for Choccy & Scatty Jan's ironing:rotfl:
  • Marg I found that the tacky glue tends to dry abit in the nozzel, despite it having a lid. So i always clear the nozzel first by sticking a part opened paperclip in there ;) It works wonders :) Ive not used it for backing papers but as its a wet glue it does sound like you used abit too much. Thing is when the glue 'wets' the paper you always get a crinkle. So i now only use double sided tape to apply backing papers and use the tacky glue for flowers and gems etc

Morning all, sorry I have been AWOL. I could not sit at the computer or the craft desk for the past week due to the ***** infections down below. I did not as predicted get the colonoscopy and have to go through the whole laxative and starvation 24 hours again in 3 weeks:mad::mad:
I have not managed to trawl though all the posts but have noted Rusty is back:T:T I hope in much better form and in much less pain than before.
Sorry about the lack of challenge entries on my part I will do better next time promise
