SBC - Thanks for the links I always forget about YouTube, I'm not clued up on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. There again couple of months ago I would never have thought I'd have a blog!
Rainmac - Thanks for the links, it is gift vouchers for the wedding ones as they are Center Parc ones. I need to do a gift card one though for next week which I'd forgotten about. Thanks so much for the glue link, very useful to have free p&p I shall have a further nosey in a bit and order some bits me thinks.
Skiergirl - See you in a bit
Blogger still playing up for me but wondering whether it's more to do with my internet connection than anything as that keeps going down so think I need to reboot my router.
Does anyone know where I can get nice individual sheets of paper/card from with sensible postage. I'm after stuff for the wedding card which I want to be black and white with just some red flowers for colour as that is their theme. I need a white which would be nice if it had a lace effect or heavy brocade, a black with some sort of effect on it but still in black and then some patterned black and white and then the negative of it. Sorry quite an ask when I look at it but I just don't know where to start looking for individual sheets.

Afternoon everyone
Not had time to do very much these last few days, we went to see the black eyed peas on Saturday night which was fab, gardening Sunday then we had friends round then have been at work so the only thing I have managed to do is finish my card for Rusty.
OAP and Rusty hope your pain lessens soon
DTB hope your interview went okay
Marg glad your eyes have been sorted
Will try and catch up on blogs tonight when I hopefully have a bit more time0 -
Been AWOL for a few days but back on track for a few days I hope ( before the decorating begins!!!).
I managed to make a newspaper birthday card but didn't have time to get a pic so will ask for it back at a later date to show you all. Not as good as Helen's but for a 1st go ( well after 20 odd attempts ) it wasn't at all bad IMO.
If I've time I need another for Saturday.
Not read back on any news so hope all who were ill are now better or getting decent help to get there & for those who need hugs or congratulations have some of those too.0 -
Tired mom . This place may be worth a look not bought from them for a while but they had a good selection . I got some lovely leather effect and allsorts .Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

We've had a right day here! DS came this morning to sort out some flooring in the sun room, awkward job way overdue. He's had to level a couple of steps and at some stage in the not too distant future he will level the floor and we can have now floor tiles. Well, he had to get out his kango hammer to remove some concrete and some old tiles, boy the dust was everywhere even though door and window were open. As the sun room is where my computer is I've been without all day (was feeling withdrawal symptoms :rotfl: ) so OH has put things back quickly so I can get on tonight but it's all got to be moved again tomorrow as DS is coming back to do a bit more.
Anyway, just went to go on blogger to blog the couple of cards I made yesterday and this is the message I gotThere is a problem with this website's security certificate.
The security certificate presented by this website has expired or is not yet valid.
Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server.
We recommend that you close this webpage and do not continue to this website.
Has anyone else had that on blogger? I hope there's not a major problem leading to loss of blogs.
Anyway, I've caught up with posts.
Marg I'm so glad your eye problem is reasonably straightforward and not too much to worry about and that the drops and ointment help. I'm absolutely hopeless with wet glue of any kind. They ALL clog up despite me being very careful about how I store it when I've finished. I use DST to put decorative paper onto card blanks. I have some of the Collall photo glue which I find very good but as I like to make sure it's on the edges so the paper doesn't lift then for me it works out to expensive to use on backing paper so I'd rather use the DST. My friend uses Pritt stick but I find that messy and clumpy and one of the cards she's given me in the past the paper came off.
OAP Good to hear you're not in so much pain now.
DTB I hope the interview went well and the outcome is what you're hoping for.
Bunbun Did you not have trouble getting onto people's blogs? Is blogger working for you? I'm still getting that message and it doesn't recommend continuing to the sites. I'm missing seeing everyone's makes.
ETA: I've just tried to get onto ebay to do feedback for the Tilda images I received today. I'm getting the same message about the website's security certificate as I'm getting for blogger when I go to My Ebay (I can get onto ebay, just can't get through to My Ebay). Can someone else try ebay and blogger and let me know if they're getting on or getting the message. I'm beginning to wonder if something's wrong here, but MSE and other sites I've visited are fine.0 -
Evening everyone,
Well done on getting through your interview DTB! :J
Marg - I am sorry I thought I had seen your reply about opticians but now not sure if I just made it up? hope you got it all sorted out ok.
OAP - Hope you are feeling better soon!
Bunbun - I used my new crafty individuals stampI love it and it was well worth the money!! :j
Rainmac - Beautiful card, I am sorry I am giving comments on blogs a miss for a bit as I amm struggling at pc for too long.
I had a quick pucrchase or 2 earlier on in the week, I have 3 of the new basic grey pads, 2 x bild manosa or however you spell it stamps and some charms. I also got my pollycraft stamps which arrived before I went into hospital. I managed to save over £40 on DD's birthday presents on the phone today aswell and then to top off my day I went to opticians to pick up my glasses and complained as they hadn't called me but it was me who had had to chase them up, so the nice bloke knocked £20 off the final price of them aswell :j so a good day all in all. Had physio this evening and she had DD sitting on the base of my back so I could lift up  lets hope this jab works as I am hoping to send OH back to Aberdeen tomorrow.Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Huge well done, bet you are so pleased that is over with! Hope they liked your handmade brooch
I don't think I have any images suitable? Will keep thinking, if you've seen any stamps I've used on my cards and would like any of those please say and I'll stamp you some x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
