My B's challenge entry is on my blog - not many Bs on it but I may have used a lot of B words when making it especially when I realised there is a little corner from the scalloped oval missing.
Thanks to all of you for the best wished for my Gran - it looks like the road to recovery may be long but she's on her way there. She can't speak or swallow at the mo but is definitely "all there" iykwim.
Better pop off now - it's the dreaded interview/presentation tomorrow. I have a banging headache, no hot water so I'm going to be boiling kettles to wash my hair in the morning and having a 'baby wipe shower' in the morning. Oh yes and I have the small task of writing the presentation. I've been trying on and off for days but quite frankly have no idea what to talk about. hmmmm If anyone ideas what they would write for

Hi DTB, sorry no idea what you could write, I have trouble understanding the question!
Just wanted to say good luck for tomorrow, hope it goes well for you - let us know how you get on.
Great creations Craftygranny - absolutely love the cross stitched strawberries in the teapot. Great news about Carly too, you must all be very proud of her achieving so much in such a short space of time.2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
DTB Hope all goes well for tomorrow.
Love your creations Craftygranny
Tired Mom I tend to try and make a card to fit the challenge. But i always struggle finding more than 1 or 2 challenges to enter my card into
CratyJuJu You will get there with the challenge blogs. They are great fun once you get into the swing of things.
Just a thought to all people wanting to start entering the challenges on other peoples blog.. As you know a few of us are DT members and theres lots of very experienced card makers on this thread. So if theres ever anything you want to know. Just remember theres no such thing as a silly question. This is such a lovely thread so if anyones unsure just ask or PM someone
Heres my Challenge blog tips:
Most of the craft stores have their own challenge blogs. So have a look around next time you are on a craft site.
Always check the starting/end date ( many a time ive made a card to find that the challenge has ended)
Look to see if theres a theme or sketch to follow
Make your card
Post card on your blog
Click on title of your post so thats the only thing/post showing on your blog.
Copy the url address
Go to challenge blog and add your entry.
Dont forget to put in your card post on your blog a link back to the challenge blog that you are entering the card into.furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:
About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D0 -
After my day spent making one card  does anyone have a list anywhere of blog challenges that they tend to enter. I'm not sure how to find the challenges and would like to tailor my cards to be able to enter them in more challenges.
DS started his Sats today, only he doesn't know it. In his words "they did secret work in special blue books".

I have quite a long list of challenge blogs that I know follow so I know what each weeks challenge is. When your looking at other peoples blogs look to see which challenges they have entered. I try to keep a note on my desk of any general challenges such as flowers, buttons, animals etc and can then match them to the card I'm making. I also like to use a sketch to work from which loads of the challenge blogs use as their challenge. hth pls do ask if you need to know anything we were all new once and had to ask someone for help:)
My son also started his SATs this morning he was in a right state about this morning but has come home happy as he managed to answer all the questions so was pleased with himself.dawnteabag wrote: »Better pop off now - it's the dreaded interview/presentation tomorrow. Deployment - made me think of tanks rumbling off to war but nowt to do with banking dtb :rotfl:
I have a list of challenge blogs on the left had side at the bottom of mine if it's any use and I keep a note of the current ones in a notebook that i got from the £1 shop and flick through before I make anything to see if I need to tweak it to fit like swapping brads for buttons.
Am now going to sit and eat a Blueberry muffin (not homemade) as I'm feeling miserable as one of my neighbours lost her fight with breast cancer yesterday her youngest is in DD's class at school she was only 3 years older than me and got married the week after me and OHOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

I've been reading and lurking but not said much for a few days. Shocking migraine yesterday so it was struggle just to read the forum. Now my laptop is off the repair shop as the cable was refusing to charge the battery and I was terrified it was all going to die on me.
Anyway I've got creaft club to run tomorrow so must go and make up some samples - iris folding tomorrow with paper first and then with ribbon.
Just wanted to add a huge Congrats to CraftyGranny or more accurately for Carly, she is doing absolutely brilliant, good on her!
I've posted Rusty card off today so hopefully will arrive tomorrow (everything crossed).
Right must go and make some cards and not let the spendy elves out...Madaboutcards has a half price sale on but I'm really really not going to look...0
