Morning everyone. I haven't managed to get on here in a few days, seem to have been so busy with other things. I think I need to sort out my life:crafting balance, does anyone else find there simply aren't enough hours in the day? I think next week some of the jobs will have to wait.
Rusty - glad to here you are back home, hope you are taking it nice & easy lady!
Rainmac - well done on your win
I tried to remember the last few pages but memory is failing me so big hugs being sent to anyone that needs them, and  to everyone else.0 -
oh meant to say. A friend of mine gave me a few craft magazines, and one of the articles was about recycling. A lot of you have probably already done this before so apologies in advance, but it suggested using the inside of an envelope to make backgrounds/matting & layering for your cards. So the last few days, every time I get a bit of post I keep peeking inside to see if I like the pattern. My OH thinks I've lost the plot ripped open envelopes everywhere :rotfl:0

My wonderful OH has only gone and bought me a netbook for when I'm on the long bus journey going to look after his Mother. So here I am trying it out! Also I will be able to show her stuff on the internet as she's hardly ever seen anything on here.
Hopefully, I will be able to get back to making some cards after my op0 -
CraftyGranny - thank you, I think I'll try that with the grey stamps (can't wait to have play with them and don't have any mounting foam, so seems like the perfect solution.
Wishful - hope your op goes ok, and what a lovely oh.0 -
What ways do you all find the best for storing your ribbon.
I have a 9L Really Useful Box full of yard lengths after going a bit mad in the Poppicrafts closing down sale. I know I am going to get very fed up with them all tangling up.
I don't want to spend money out on something and then find it doesn't really work. I have seen this Ribbon Ring storage and wondered if anyone uses it or similar?
Not getting any crafting done this weekend, but am finally sorting out the downstairs cupboard so I can have my craft stuff in there and see what I have rather than having to rummage through numerous boxes and carriers trying to find things.0 -
Padster - I'm very sorry I've run out of time to enter your challenge
- I'm having problems with my eyes & DH has suggested (quite rightly:eek:) that I should rest them, no cards, no PC, no reading. All the things I love. I can't see that I'll be able to keep it up for very long, if at all, but think it's sensible to try. Ironing listening to the radio just doesn't 'do' it. I intend to seek proper advice from optician tomorrow.... as it could be Christmas before I get to see my GP!
