Wanna b rich - not sure but I've had some stamps in the past that came a bit like this. I ignored the foam and just stick them to my acrylic block when I want to use them. I kind of the guessed the foam was if you wanted to mount them yourself, but wasn't sure. I always stamp onto a stamping mat so any issue of clear image is resolved that way. Sorry I can't be more helpful.0

I've got some unmounted red rubber stamps, that come with grey foam - do I use them the same as my clear stamps and store them on acrylic sheets or do I have to do something else? I've tried googling, but get conflicting amswers. Don't want to use them and then ruin them doing the wrong thing IYSWIM. TIA
is the Grey foam sticky on one side? and are the red stamps *really* flat?
if so you need to mount the stamps on the foam then cut round them, if you google kling-on I have a feeling that might be what your foam is?0 -

I have some like this and the grey foam is usually ez mount or kling on and it's very sticky on one side and you stick that to the back of the stamp and cut around it. then the other side of the foam just clings to your block iyswim or at least mine does.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

21 pages to catch up on but that will be for tomorrow to give me something to read!!
Just wanted to say thankyou to all the ladies who got in touch by text to keep me sane and also for all of the beautiful cards, not sure if the injection has worked or not, it definately has released the burning which was crippling me but the pain is still bad. I am currently sporting a zimmer frame!! something I could never imagine doing but it is an absolute god send!!
Woohoo Rusty! Glad your home and not crippled with pain. I think you should definitely bling out the zimmer frame - it would take your mind off everything lolcraftygranny wrote: »Lei i finally got mine today my lucky bag ones were scattering love and best fishes which you got then

Thank you Nici, Gem & CraftyGranny for your replies
I think it is Kling-on, very pale grey with a yellow backing sheet. I've peeled a corner back and its really sticky on one side. The red rubber is about 2mm thick. I've never bought any stamps like this before and don't want to ruin them before I use them.
Also, can you tell me what to do with the sugar nellie stamps (grey rubber), please? Normally I buy stamps that are already mounted or clear acrylic, but decided to treat myself to a few different ones, maybe I should've just to stuck to what I know.:D0 -

yep that is kling-on wannab! what I do is to cut a bit of foam about the right size for the stamp without removing the yellow backing, then once cut, remove the backing and stick the stamp on (flat side of stamp to stickyness) and then trim as closely as you can around the image. then this will cling to your acrylic blocks. I store these kind of stamps in empty cd cases
ETA: this video may help you0 -

Thank you very much. I had visions of the stamps just sitting in their package unused. Will watch the video and then have a go at mounting the stamps.:D0 -

I do exactly the same as gemm.
The sugar nellies you can either buy some kling on or ez mount and do the same as your other stamps or i just use a glue stick on the back, slap it on a block then stamp up my images and when i've finished clean the glue off the block and the stamp and store till next time .
I'm too impatient to mount them all on the foam and would take me a while as i do have errr a few lol.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20
